Without having played this I'd think a slower paced game would allow for more tactics. Basically, slower gameplay tones down the importance of good reflexes and makes team coordination and choices for objectives more important. I'm not sure which one I prefer, but I see this as more of a meta balancing choice rather than a straight con.

I like the design and especially the amazing graphics! Though it feels like a slower version of smite and some of the combat looks a bit clunky. I doubt it will level with LoL and Dota, but i can see it going up with Smite.

I have over 12 days played in Paragon and 3 Master Characters. PLEASE PLEASE, do a "Second Impression". The game has changed dramatically, 23 current Heroes with 1 released every 3 weeks; match times reduced, content updates, and soon a new map to be released. Paragon is also in Open Beta so now seems a most apropos time to revisit and examine your cons and how things have changed! Also, an Esport community is starting to build around Paragon.. do i sound a bit biased.. nahhh!

If anyone is wondering how well this runs, on a $1000 custom built computer from 2-3 years ago runs at about medium (with highest 3d resolution, which is necessary other you'll feel blind) at around 40 fps, the games doesnt look amazing at that point but it gets the job done

Going on for what you said about Twin Blast, he's definitely the best starter hero to play, but if you have experience with other MOBA's there's no point to play him. I however have never played a MOBA other than maybe 3 games of Dota 2. After playing 3 games with twin I switched the Murdock and have been playing hum ever since.

+Leo Spencer My opinion on hots is good and a bunch of others agree, before hots came out and everyone one was watching the alpha tournament that bliss hosted, there was one distinct difference that hots had to other moba;'s it was "this is actually pretty fun to watch" unlike dota you don't see laneing for hour, but with hots you get a ton of team fights, fights very often, cool objectives, more maps, and no one player can make it boring by getting overpowered (memories of lvl 25 riki) Even now its fun to watch, many people like it because of its fun to watch, fun to play, and they get to wreak with character they love. Watch the big tournament (that i think happens this weekend) its soon fun to watch. And fi you complain about it being hard to play certain characters after you get to lvl 7 yu usually have enough gold to buy any character or you can wait till weekly rotation

@TheLazyPeon, log time watcher. Recent subscriber. I myself am a hardcore holy trinity MMORPG raider and recently started venturing into the MoBa PVP scene. I watched your Paragon review last year and agreed with a lot of your pros and cons, mainly the basic speed/flow of your character. I downloaded they game to give it a shot, and apparently this has been changed as of late 2016/early 2017. In short for changes - movement speed is faster, character animations are faster to accommodate movement speed, the map/jungle is more complex. Said changes make for a much better experience than the one you initially recorded for both melee and ranged classes. - Archer? Yes. I personally believe this game is owed a second "Is It Worth Playing" as it is beyond early access and the changes have highlighted your previous videos pros, and addressed your cons. I am looking forward to your take on this. Sincerely, One of your biggest US fans - Undertanker.

It really looks beautiful, but that's all I get from the video, the fights look tedious, the whole map looks far to big for the amount of mininons AND players moving through it. So from what I've heard and seen of the game up to now, it's completely different to what I had hoped for. I'll be waiting for reviews after release and maybe I'll give it another chance, but for now, I'll keep it to the side and wait. Still, thanks for the video, it's nice to see a video playing it up from zero.

This seems to use the same game engine as Skyforge. Very similar art style movement and combat actions. Way to much seems to be going on with not enough definition on abilities ! Will still give it a go though :)

I think the game looks good but not only does the movement speed seem slow but also the attack speed. Skills and how they work seem fine, but I think they should expand on the boundaries that Smite worked within and make the Auto Attacks feel quicker. For example, melee attackers could have regular speed AA's which do decent damage while ranged characters start out with fast attack speed and much lower damage at the start. Also I feel like maybe the game would be better completely free of a travel mode and just allowing players to move quickly. Lastly, just an aesthetic suggestion I'd like to see the minions as large as the characters as I feel the more detailed, realism look would be augmented by that. I'd play it

I've been playing Paragon for a few weeks and I love it. It's definitely my favorite MOBA since LoL launched. Gideon is a beast, but so is Twin Blast once you get some proper cards. EDIT: Don't forget the game is on PS4 also, just in case you have a potato.
