I have an account thats close to max, and its great to see a new player get hooked on the game, it just goes to show that its not "nostalgia" its the game, for instance i never played WoW growing up we lacked a good PC so i was a runescape kid, and im currently hooked on classic WoW, its the gameplay not nostalgia

I'm not really sure I understand their motivation for calling it archeage. Why try to appeal to a player base that has been burned multiple times? Why appeal to said player base when your intentions are to move away from a PVP focus? Why use the AA name when trying to appeal to a story driven audience when AA had the worst storyline known to man? I really don't know who thought this made sense.

I love my monk!!! I enjoyed poe 1 but didnt get heavy into it because the barrier to learn a lot was insane. poe2 is so much better in that way! Im really enjoying it! cant wait to get to end game and map.

Horrible review. You’re just complaining most of the time about the game. Also if you were good at it you should have playing something other than easy mode. You complained about the well for like 10 seconds after only getting three water. Don’t you realize that maybe it gives you more if you just wait a couple minutes? Game plays a million times better on a controller!

Tbh, when you get to a certain point, the game becomes really easy and you can then “turn off” your brain.

there are no unusable uniques, everything can be designed around, one of the beauties of this game:)

MO2 to craft or gain items solo is way to difficult or impossible to max out and it takes crazy long in-game time, there is third party markets for selling power items and potions for real $.

Thanks for sharing your review, man. Love the game and longtime fan of your content so I was excited to see it. I remember that it seemed POE 1 didn't quite click for you. I think it makes sense, being that you're someone who plays tons of random early access MMOs, you probably place a lot of value on systems that feel intuitive in the early game, and I think they've done a really nice job of improving this from POE 1 without overly simplifying the complexity and build expression that made POE 1 so beloved. I see in the comments that you're into maps now, and I'd love to see a follow-up of how you've felt progressing into the endgame.

if you never got into poe because it was to complicated thats a you issue not the game. seem like you like the more dumbed down hold your hand and show you everything games

This video is outdated. they already addressed alot of the things that alot of people thought was "unreasonable" I had similar experince with the game despite having played PoE1. the two are quite different. and my opinion of the game is exactly as yours. Both of the trial of ascendencies on PoE2, happens to be popular contents in PoE1, but i never thought that they were for everyone. Sekhema=Sanctum, is a content that mainly favors any build that doesn't fight themselves, think minions/totems and alike. Chaos=Ultimatum, mainly favors chunky big boi builds with alot of survivability, think survival mod of some sort. As the two were implimented into PoE2, and in a very nice way too, i still was disappointed to see them for Trial of ascendency. it's not because they are bad, in fact they are actually very good with their own unique rewards, loved by the community, but in PoE1, due to having unlimited content, you can just not do those if you dont want to. in PoE2, you are forced to do them and since neither of them are all builds friendly, and also im not a fan of having my ascendency trials decided by RNG so... i was disappointed. but they always listen to reasonable feedback and already took steps to make both of them more approachable, more all class/builds friendly now. try and make another video i'd say.

Yeah definitely a decent game something about it is just not sucking me in maybe because I’m thinking about the long run for this game like who in the world would want to run this game over and over ever league I’m already kinda bored after making 2 characters lol

They need to make some serious balance changes in order for the game to truly flourish. Monk is the only viable melee class.

The OG was very pay to win, but apart from that it was an amazing game and a fantastic experience. It was just special to be able to know where people lived, friends and enemies. Or to vote for faction heroes to lead the PvP and PvE events. And the nerve-wracking experience of trying to outrun player pirates chasing you as you try to sell your hard earned farming goods using your merchant ship. And the fact it allowed you to upload your own custom images to use for your ship sails or just as paintings in your house. Remembering people's sails knowing which ones meant trouble or not. Players just had so much opportunity to build a persona for themselves and to be recognized as unique in a way I've never seen in any other MMO.

Boss fights are actually hard which is nice, poe1 was always a stat check. Poe2 has some stat check to it but it's more about avoiding the big scary mechanics

Good assessment of the game overall. Personally, I REALLY dislike all the bosses and how theres just sooo damn many of them. B/c yes, often just want to wander around doing wander around stuff and not every 30min have to fight a boss and figure out mechanics. Its a real funnel system on, "do I really want to log in and do 20min of boss fighting to move on? How about I just give you xxxx amount of gold and let me move on w/my life/level and just bypass that shit??" Or some other bypass. I know this, I've log'd off on every single boss fight at least once. Thats saying something, and reading the forums I'm not the only one. So that definitely needs some tweaking.

AOE Mobile was so bad...

imo game wont hold if it comes out like that. basically whole game feels 2014-2016. it aint 2025 game. graphics are wierd, whole game clunky, and a lot of stuff looks like they would be collecting assets from different places, like it wouldnt be done by one studio.

RS4 would be a good idea if it really modernized the game and rework some of the skilling, combat and perhaps even include mounts if an overworld overhaul is done or even an entire new continent sort of like osrs had with the great kourend.

For me been curious about Poe 2 so I started trying out poe 1 quite rough but feels good when the monkey neurons kicks in with basic understanding of the base mechanic

I always use mouse in arpg but im this game controller feels best way to go. Besides when inventory manage then mouse is King.

Playing ARPG since D1 Hellfire. Huge Dark Souls fan. Didnt like PoE1, but love PoE2, as its like Diablo 2 and Dark Souls.

For me, i love the game but it is abit to much Dark soul and to little ARPG. Kinda need world tier or a cruel mode i guess :p
