Thank you so much for the discussion 🙂. Please 🙏 add these stories to our kindergarten, 1st, 2nd....5th grade books. All people should do agriculture and few hours in night do online jobs.

Today's excellent programme by prof somadeva and aptly assisted by nuwan was a tour force. Disscussion centerd on the importance and necessity of a well rounded education thats lifelong.a crying need that exists for philosophical and stuctural changes in the present system. Promoting an education that trains future generations to make better choices fostering unique qualities and cultivating individualities and the dignity of labour.such a system will enable citizens and leaders to form good governance.it seems that king vijayabahu and prakramabhu are a products of a creative inclusive ancient education system.
History should be spread through with all the people of this country

Dear Sir! I've the following 3 questions? 1. It is said that the British built roadways in SL cutting through the bunds of ancient reservoirs ("Wewa") so the native peasant (ordinary Sri Lankans, to mean the farmers) were unable to continue their irrigation work (using water in those "wewas") and as a result became destitute, malnourished and poor. As a result it was easy for the British rulers to have the upper hand over the local population because they were physically weak. Please give your thoughts on this. 2. Please show the South Indian map at the background next week when you talk about what Lankapura did in South India against the King (?) Kulasekera. 3. Parakrama Pandu and Kulasekera are names still used in SL by the Sinhalese. Please explain this aspect also using your archaeology and historical knowledge. Thanks. Ajith Jayasekera from NSW, Australia.

I think you talk about the names like "Nuwan Kulasekara" in the 3rd questions. That names usually used in south Asian region since thousands of the years. An Example also we can hear some names like "kalinga, Ashoka , wellala" and somany Indian origin names are using in Sri Lanka. If we consider about our language we can see Dravidian and Sanskrit languages influence to Sinhala and that was a reason Sinhalese people use some common names in South Asian region.
