Yup its a accuracy killer. To many have mo idea they are hamstringing themselves with Parallax!!

I think I have a fix for it! Gonna try it out tomorrow and put up a video. It drives me nuts watching that reticle move around like that. Thanks, CW!

@TinManReloading Some scopes... simply are no bueno.
@TinManReloading4 ай бұрын
@@cw2a I agree. But I have to try. You can adjust parallax on a lot of fixed objective scopes 😁 If it doesn’t work, I still got to go have some fun shooting!

I wouldn't waste the reloading components until I got that under control. otherwise you are just making your best guess, and the further away you are to the target, the worse it will be off. good video, - Dave

I think the parallax for this scope is set around 100 yards. I’ll have to see if it happens at 100. But I agree, it’s pissing in the wind at this point. But I think I found a way to adjust it. We’ll find out tomorrow and I’ll do a video. Thanks, Dave 👍🏻

That’s why I like 2.5 power fixed on pistols, I have a 3-9 and keeping your head steady is crazy unless you have a cheek weld. Your parallax should be 50y with the focus set. I even have to adjust the focus at close range with a 2.5 power and again for 70 Y.

There's always the option of picatinny rail and Magpul flip-up sights. 😂

Yeah, you ain’t gotta worry about that parallax stuff with good old iron sights 😂 Or a red dot 🤔

You need another scope. I have tried to work around scopes like that in the past and ended wasting a lot of time, ammo, and money. Cut your losses and get another scope before you go any further. I almost sold a tack driving 22 one time because of a scope like that. Swapped scopes and that thing shot lights out.

I think you’re absolutely right. I know the scope isn’t great and it’s pissing in the wind trying to do load development with it like this. But there’s a way to adjust the parallax on these fixed scopes that I wanna try before I write it off. It’ll be a learning experience as long as I don’t let the nitrogen out 😂

Sure, blame it on the scope. I find that same issue, and it drives me nuts.

The scope is more accurate than I am even with the wandering reticle 😂

Grab a new scope or a red dot.

That’s in the works for sure. Thanks, James 👍🏻

Red dot?

That will definitely ensure a parallax free experience. We’re gonna play around with it. Thanks, Jeff!

I know you really want to shoot that new pistol... but return that scope and get something else! Don't waste your time and money on a piece of junk.

That is the plan! Just wanted to check it out and maybe learn a little something. I found a way to adjust the parallax on fixed objective scopes. Video coming soon!
