just make sure when you are parking reverse and parallel parking use your signals they take off points for that you can not fail if you dont get it completely perfect they take off 10 points if u hit cones and fail to park it though

My grandpa uses those big trashcans whenever I try to practice in a parking lot and instead of saying "you're gonna hit the trashcan" he says "you're gonna hit the car" Btw it works using big trashcans if you have nothing else in my opinion. Also my test is July 16th and I guess it might be more short and sweet than I thought because of covid. The examiner would be outside the car and that means I can only go so far. Within the parking lot

On my test, you're not allowed to stop and you can't do it too slow otherwise you have to take the test over again. You have to back into a spot while turning in the first try, then immediately after, back into a parallel park in two tries. Then you take the road section of the test.

No wonder Americans cannot fucking drive how is driving around a car park with cones and an automatic car that does everything for you except observations make you a "safe" driver. Thank fuck I live in the UK where the driving tests are very strict and manual cars are very common for us.

ok so the reason I will not be following this video is because 1. Drove passed white line without coming to a complete stop. (MANDATORY) 2. Not looking over the shoulder when backing up 3. Hitting too many cones that's why I give it a thumbs down...parking is good but the safety maneuvers aren't there.

+normandyangel I think passing or failing depends on the instructor you have. I took mine in dearborn michigan and the guy who tested me was the founder of that specific driving academy site. so I was really nervous but when he gave me the test he was so calm anf nice and formal about it. I admit that I messed up the parallel parking because I hit a cone but everything else was great and when he took me on the road he had me on the freeway and going 70 mph then after a minute or so we just started having random conversations like we were best friends. it made the test so much more relaxed. what I'm trying to say is the instructors attitude and presence can be what stands between you passing or failing. I passed my first time last month and he told me that instructors should try to make the students feel comfortable as possible...it makes a difference.
