I went to events at both the Olympics and Paralympics and was so much more inspired by these superhumans...simply stunning. No idea why the USA don't cover it as much..sad really.

I wish the Paralympics was covered as much as the Olympics.....I had to tune in here to see a lot of the events. SO disappointing but, CONGRATS to all the athletes!!!

With the T42 - i think the type of blades they use really make a difference and enhance certain competitors.

Why are able-bodied people competing?

Usually they are the guides for the competing athlete eg the vision impaired sprinters. Or they may look able bodied but have an invisible impairment.
