I‘ve been watching your videos for a while.I became T10 paraplegic for 7 weeks now from the car accident but I also love to ride a bike. I couldn’t stop crying after seeing this clip. For a Biker that yet paralyzed, there is nothing to be glad more than could get back there and ride again. Thank you so much for being such an inspiration. I still stay in the hospital but after I get out. I‘m going to modify my Honda CBF650 just like one of yours.

Just saw this video today, Brian. I think the time and energy that you put into creating this motorcycle is awesome !! Also special KUDOS to your friends from the Motorcycle Club for helping you to achieve this goal. This has been published a few years ago, so I hope to learn that all has gone well with the bike !! Congratulations Brian.

You are an inspiration! A friend showed us your video and we were so happy to see this. You see, our friend wrecked this past Sunday and broke his neck. His paralysis is like yours, though he is still recovering. In time, we'll show him this video for inspiration. He's nicknamed Wolverine for a good reason. :-) Thanks so much for sharing this with us!

Counter steering. Check out 'Twist of the wrist 2' for more on the technique. Although its the way to corner on any bike, few people realize it because it's more of a reflex than active thought.

My best pal and brother in arms was paralysed from an IED attack, he has a VROD Trike, but in two weeks time he will be riding an Honda Fireblade on a closed military base runway. If you have facebook please get intouch with him "Chris Baker RE" or B.R.A.V.E. Bikers Respect All Veterans Equally, because any advise on riding two wheels would be great. He won't have any stabilisers on the bike he will be riding but will have catchers, but he really wants to get something like this for his bike. Well done on not letting your injury hold you back. hey dude cool vid what assist system are yu using?
@kikoteixeira25616 жыл бұрын
Awesome! I always thought if i wanted to get a motorcycle it would have to be a trike or a 4 wheel. Mind telling me how do you maintain balance while driving and if you have to brake hard do those stabilizers work well? And also.. do you have a way to reverse the bike?

Hey brother, that’s awesome. Wondering if you could send me info on where to buy the outrigger system or at least the basic layout and the size of linear actuator it uses.
@rjoad01111 жыл бұрын
Are the sky stick outriggers made for this bike modification or did you create these? Are they automatic or do you have to hold them down - which would be a bit too much to handle in an emergency. They work very well though.

I am impressed. I like to ride a Yamaha Rhino side x side due to the stability that I get from a modified seat. I wanted to be in a seat that was just like my wheelchair so I modified a platform that would fit in the place of the stock one. But that was just to get to the point that the only time that I tried to get on a 4x4 I felt very unstable - and I hung onto the handle grips very nervously due to my paraplegia high waist down. I did it but I was scared of the feeling of being not held side to side. I don't know if I even have a balance point anymore. But we do what we want to do to the level that makes us satisfied and have some fun. Right?

how you getting on all these years later bud? ive got a spine cancer which is about to paralyse me from t9 of my thoratic spine. its a matter of when now and not if unfortunately and one of the biggest things is gonna be losing my ability to ride. This was cool to see man.

Different attitudes in different countries. My pal lost a leg and the first thing the authorities did was take his MC licence off him. On a different subject; I though that Go Pros were better than that and had image stabilization in them.

the recording was probably way shakier and the go pro did its best

awesome video man and the song is a perfect match. Just curious is there room to store your wheelchair on the bike, or can I buy a mount or something? Because before my accident I was purely a rider no cars for me, and I would like to get back to that again, but I obviously cant ride without my chair. So I was just curious to see what my options were in that field please and thank you.

I have to ask the stupid question. Do the balance bars deploy automatically or do you have to operate them yourself?
@krajpurohit4 жыл бұрын
Can you tell us The side wheels that you have applied come down automatically for hitting the brakes or they have to be manually lowered.
