me neither just haters that the dude loves what he does and what he does is what they dream about wut a shame :( the guys got massive size cuhonas tbh never mind you could have clapsed it for longer any longer is leaving way to much to risk making the thing clap like that aint to bad at all and is good training tbh just incase the real thing does happen

It's probably the ghouls out there that were expecting blood, guts, and broken bones. I also thought it was an interesting video.

I think the dislikes are because people were expecting a wing collapse on accident not on purpose. It's the only thing I could think of anyway.

It's just dangerous and dumb to purpousfully full stall when not over water. Watch the video, where the paragliding tester talks about his job, not even he would full stall over ground and he is a paid professional testing paragliders. Also even if you are dumb enough to do it, you are way too low and don't have enough time to throw your reserve. You risk not only your safety but also your life. The downvotes are well deserved.

It's an impressive demo of a wing that can be made to stall, but by its very design, returns to normal operations very quickly.

The wing is a Paratoys II 26 meter from blackhawk where I got the paramotor, a blackhawk 125. Came with the motor for about 1k more. Great deal and great wing. I use it for free flying too. It's not certified, but equivalent to a 1-2 I'm told.

I've done some inverted stall flaps, and then just yoked it in. As long as you keep the speed under control and watch for twisted thermals the descent is quite nice

why would anyone dislike this. When i get into this sport i want to learn how to stall it and more importantly get out of a stall safe. Imagine it happening and you haven't had experience with it, fuck that would be scary.
@johnkshea3
@johnkshea3 6 жыл бұрын
goose boy yes that was my thinking but remember stalling a Paramotor is much more dangerous than stalling an airplane. When the instructor lands he says, "Still want to go out and full stall it? I've done about six or seven hundred of those, over the lake first." You have to start safely on a rope tow over a lake with no engine, just the wing. Then you can graduate to this. Fly safe!

And here I thought that a paramotor was safer than an airplane. Does the paramotor chute safely descend even if there is no movement forward (due to failed motor or bad trim) or does the chute always require trim to allow air to keep the chute open and provide lift? I am not sure I have seen a regular parachute stall due to lack of airflow.

I don’t understand why people are so nervous on safety when it was obvious he had more than enough altitude to recover. As a private pilot, all pilots go through power on and power off stalls all the time our training, and instructors are required to do spins, all of which have been known to kill at low altitude, so we know how to recover from them when we come across them. That’s probably why he does them too, or he just finds it fun. Either way he was playing as safe as he could, and was being smart about it. Nothing I can call foul on here.

Years ago I worked for a company that built and sold these , they were called powered parachutes. My main job was to try to make them fail or test new chute designs. I always had a ballistic chute just in case I got in trouble. I wouldn’t have one of these up my ass if I had room for a saw mill,,, lol

I don't think there would ever be a time when I would not carry one if I get into the sport. It is your safety net so to speak as long as it does not get tangled up in your wing and it deploys correctly.
