It's the most amazing thing I have ever done. That Much freedom, no Cockpit just your feet da going down. So amazing. And all you need for start and landing is like 10-15 M or Green 😃

Hehe das war genau mein Gedanke, als ich es zum ersten Mal auf YT sah... Nichts steht Dir im Wege Frank, bis auf naja... Die Ausbuildungsgebühr. Aber den Kurs kann man ja erstmal ohne eigenes Equipment machen. Die Leihgebür ist da inklusive.. Dann sind es ungefähr 2000€ für die vollständige Ausbildung inkl. Leihgebühr.

Congrats on your first flight, Manni. You are doing exactly what I have been planning for a while, the only difference is you've actually followed through. Smart idea using the revenue from your gaming channel to fund your new hobby. I've always dreamed of being a pilot, but my poor eyesight has always kept me out of the commercial airline industry and military. Not much hope unless I wanted a private pilots license to fly solo. Gyrocopters, bush planes and paramotors really don't sound like a bad deal, it's just getting up there tends to come with a price tag. You're living my dream and I can't say I'm not jealous, but also very happy and elated for you. Right now my biggest dream is a CubCrafters NXCUB bush plane. Ain't she sweet?

Hi cody, Thank you - I also feel very lucky to be able to do that. I have also been thinking about this for more than a year and talking about it to friends. And then I decided to not wait any longer and "just do it". Next week I should be able to complete the practical exal or however one says that in English 😉 and then I have the pilots license in the bag. I can o ly say. If you want to do that and are heavily into it. Just do it where you know you have a bit of time. Material can be rented or is often included in the course. You dont have to buy everything at once. The first "Cable" to immigrate was hired by Britain as a Hessian soldier to fight Americans in the Revolutionary War. If you are hanging on a Paraglider, too - chances are you wont be able to fly faster... Engine power results in climbing at some point - not speed :)
