That backflip was awesome! Are you going to teach us how to do that? I am so excited for Super-Training! Not only is this clearly the absolute best training you can get but it just looks like a total blast. That eyes closed kiting is so cool! Great video Mr. Schanze.

This is the BEST ground handing I've EVER seen, I LOVE ground handling it's so important to get right BEFORE you're 1st flight NOT AFTER. Even BEFORE you fly a NEW wing, if you cannot deal with any of the things these instructors throw at you on the ground you should NOT be flying PERIOD. GOOD one DELL!!

What do you think of Scout paramotors?
@DellSchanze
@DellSchanze 7 жыл бұрын
The scout is just another copy of the skycruiser from the 1980's and without a single safety update to address ANY of the catastrophic issues. No protection from the prop, no crumple zone, no face plant protection, no handless seatinng, no quick release harness, no trigger throttle... 19 dead in a single year on crap like the scout including the scout importer Jeff Toll. On top of all the death over 100 people have been shredded in props on units like the scout and still they haven't even addressed the issue. The netting is so flimsy and the prop is so close to the netting if you let go of the brake toggles to get into the seat the prop can grab a brake toggle and wrap it up into the reduction locking you into a face down spiral into the ground. You can watch a guy die that way on youtube. So it's an absolutely horrible unit. The Flat Top is 100 TIMES stronger and more durable but while at the same time it still 3 lbs lighter. You have up to 18 inches of crumple zone under your spine on the Flat Top which is enough to let you walk away from a full stall straight into the ground from 10,000 ft! Another guy was shredded on a unit like the scout just a few days ago. I posted the picture on the main facebook chat group which is "paramotor ppg master chat". Then another guy posted a picture of a scout that self destructed just today. This is not about Ford vs Chevy as both Ford and Chevy have to meet the same safety requirements. The scout is absolutely horrible to such an extent that you know anyone flying one is totally incompetent or seriously just flat out evil. Over 100 people shredded in props on the skycruiser clones and STILL they haven't fixed or even addressed the issue. The Flat Top has kevlar netting and the cage is so strong you can literally stand on the netting without it flexing into the prop. There is absolutely no excuse not to have proper protection from the prop. Another guy in Virginia lost use of his entire arm because of one of those. First time he went to fire it up he went right through the netting and it shredded his hand, ripped his thumb off and tore the nerve out of his arm clear up to his shoulder causing him to completely lose use of his entire arm!!! Now because the total scum bag liars who push crap like the scout told him every lie to try to deceive him away from the Flat Top which would have without a doubt prevented something like that from happening he now has no use of his entire arm for the rest of his life. This sport is truly incredible IF you get a Flat Top and SUPER training. ZERO deaths in the history of the sport on Flat Tops. Call me directly at 800-707-2525 and I can give you all the details you like on how to get into the sport the right way. If you don't know who I am just search youtube for "world's best paramotor pilot" as every video is of me. 800-707-2525.

@DellSchanze 6 жыл бұрын
I've done training in NC but it's just not a very good location for training so it's much better for you to come to Texas where we have a huge gigantic wide open smooth area right on the beach for training. The location you train is absolutely critical. So well worth traveling to the perfect spot for training as it will make a huge impact in the final results of the training. Once you master the skills you can fly anywhere so NC is awesome for flying but for training you really want the perfect spot. So call me at 800-707-2525.

can you use the same wing for paragliding and paramotoring? like if you bought a ppg, could you also take your wing to the beach and just paraglide with no engine?
@DellSchanze
@DellSchanze 7 жыл бұрын
Yes absolutely. A paraglider is a paraglider. You can fly it with or without a motor or with a trike or even tandem all on the same wing and same size wing. Certified wings are load tested to 2500-3000 LBS!! So adding a 180 lb passenger to an extra extra small paraglider is absolutely no problem at all. I even fly tandem on the XXXXS which is just 16sm. It works incredibly well when you have a Dominator. Best wing on the market at the moment.

That's like pretending you are going to learn karate by watching Bruce Lee movies. It's foolish and deadly to even try. This is aviation. It's hard enough when learning the right way. One should not even hook themselves to a paraglider without a SUPER standing right there to help save them. It would cost 10 times more to even try to teach yourself because you would constantly trash your gear. At SUPER training if you damage any gear WE pay for it not you. Just that alone is worth more than the $2500 for SUPER training. Not one single person anywhere got even close to SUPER skills without taking SUPER training. It would be great if people really could learn on their own. I could sell a ton more gear if people could just figure it out from watching videos. It simply doesn't work that way though and that's the honest fact. Those that try end up ruining the sport for themselves and that's if they live through it.

Hey Dell... I’ve got about 300 skydives and 200 on high-performance high wing load rate canopy ...do you still recommend training for paramotor?
@DellSchanze
@DellSchanze 6 жыл бұрын
@@alanmcn17 Yes you definitely want to get SUPER training. Even if you had 10,000 jumps it almost doesn't help you at all because of how different it is. While it seems to operate the same way such as pull left for left and right for right with a paraglider there is a ton more to it as you must also control the internal pressure of the glider as without active piloting the glider is thousands of times more likely to collapse. I could make a lot more money just lying like so many others do and saying how easy it is and how you will pick it up in a few hours or could learn on your own but that's a flat out lie. It's much much harder than you would expect. It's like learning karate. You can't just show someone a kick and a punch and throw them in an ultimate fighting competition. Every detail of glider control must be learned into reflexes. Just call me at 800-707-2525 and I'll be happy to get into the specifics and details as much as you like.

We make a whole vacation adventure out of it. So you would fly into San Diego and we train down in Mexico in the most incredible training location I've seen on earth. The location for training is really critical as it will dictate just how much training you can get per day. That's why we drive 800 miles from where we live to do the training is the most optimal location. Very fun trip. Nothing else compares as you can see clearly from the many videos. You just won't see skill levels like these in any other class in the world. Call 800-707-2525. Let's go flying!! Sooo dang fun man!!

Dell Schanze Drive 800 miles? Did you mean 80?
@DellSchanze
@DellSchanze 10 жыл бұрын
Luke Bandy Yes I mean 800. Check Utah to Mexico. It is far more cost effective to go where the perfect weather for training is so we can get the most training done in the least amount of time. Once you learn how to fly you don't need wind so you can fly pretty much anywhere anytime. For the training though the wind conditions are critical so it is a definite must to travel to the SUPER training class no matter where in the world you are. We get people from all over the world.

?Do you always recommend to take off With open Trimmers .Thanks
@DellSchanze
@DellSchanze 8 жыл бұрын
Yes for both forwards and reverse launch always launch trimmers up if you have a Dominator or other quality certified type glider. If you have a glider they call "reflex" then throw it in the trash and get a Dominator. 12 died on what they call "reflex" gliders in a single year. They are the absolute worst most horrible death traps in the history of the sport and if you put the trims up on those one collapse and you most likely just die. Gliders are different as to how they respond with trims open or up so it does depend a bit on the wing as to if you can safely do that. With the Dominator it is so incredible safe that the safety changes very little trims up or down. What glider do you have?

Where at are you?
@DellSchanze
@DellSchanze 7 жыл бұрын
This is on the coast of California just south of San Diego. We would then go down into Mexico for the flying because of the bigger beaches but Mexico since has changed their rules and now require you to purchase a visa to get down there which now requires a passport. So now the SUPER training is in Texas which is working out even better. It's without a doubt the very best paragliding / paramotoring training in the world. Just give us a call anytime at 800-707-2525. There really isn't anything else even close as almost no other instructor can even do what our new students can do. Literally.

@DellSchanze
@DellSchanze 7 жыл бұрын
You really have no other option. Don't even think for one second about training with those who don't have even the most basic skills themselves just because it takes a few hour plane ride to get the best training in the world. You need serious hours of practice to truly master glider control and that just doesn't happen without the perfect location. So it is far more cost effective for me to drive 1500 MILES every other month to do training in Texas then to waste everyone's time trying to do training in Utah where we might only get a few hours of training into an entire 10 day trip. At the perfect beach in Texas we can get upwards of 80 hours of practice in to the same 10 days. So either do it the right way or don't do it at all. 19 DEAD in a single year who thought they could learn from joe blow. ZERO have ever died in the history of the sport on Flat Tops & Dominators. Zero. I have way way over 11,000 flights setting piles of world records and I've never once even been injured. So just wait until you can do the 10 days in the perfect location as it's well worth the wait. Another guy just died only days ago because he didn't get proper gear and training. ZERO in history on Flat Tops with SUPER training. Call me at 800-707-2525. The whole reason you even go to work is so that you can afford to do cool things like this. So you just need to get you priorities straight. It will be well worth it.

Call me directly and I can help you. My number is 800-707-2525. We don't do the online purchasing thing as there are so many factors it is really life & death critical that you talk to a master pilot and get help on exactly what wing and size of wing to get for what you want to do. Give me a shout anytime and I'll be happy to get you the perfect wing for what you want to do. Coolest thing ever IF you get the right gear and training. 19 died last year who didn't listen to my advice though so I would highly recommend you make sure you ONLY talk to a master pilot on this. Just search youtube for "world's best paramotor pilot" and you will find a whole list of videos of me. Not trying to brag but it's your life on the line and you don't want to take advice from any joe blow idiot on the internet. Talk to me and you will absolutely love this sport.

Yes a paraglider is a paraglider so you can use it for just paragliding or with a motor or even with a trike or even tandem all with the same wing. Just call us anytime at 800-707-2525 if you want to chat about it. Dell
@DellSchanze
@DellSchanze 7 жыл бұрын
Yes of course it's true and anyone can see thousands of videos proving it. Any paraglider can be towed or pushed with a paramotor or flown tandem or solo or with a trike. A paraglider is a paraglider. I've flown comp wings tandem and even 16sm paragliders tandem. In fact it's much much much safer to fly a standard wing for tandem then a pile of crap tandem wing. Soooo many people have crashed because they thought they had to fly those pig piles of crap that don't turn. Flying an XXS solo is no different then flying a large tandem. The gigantic benefit is that if you fly tandem with the same wing you fly solo just in a different size then all your reflexes from piles of hours of use are spot on. Switching from your great performing Dominator to a pile of crap tandem wing is horribly dangerous because all your reflexes and experience goes right out the window. People stall and spin tandem wings all the time because they expected it to turn when it just flat out won't and actually spun before it gave them the turn they expected. Every wing out there is load tested to 2500-3000 lbs. Pulling 2 G's with a paramotor solo is more stress then taking a passenger tandem. Even taking a 300 lb passenger tandem is far less then pulling 2.5 G's. Just don't take a 300 lb guy tandem and then pull 10 G's. This is why people need to only listen to those of us who really do know what we are talking about. So many out there with fake certifications from the totally bogus ushpa have absolutely no clue what they are doing. The sport is still in the first generation where every one of them was self taught. So almost all the scammers from the ushpa don't have a dang clue what they are doing and literally can't even do what brand new SUPER students can do. I challenge any ushpa scam p4 out there try to to do what brand new SUPER students can do. let's see it. People need to look very closely as skill levels because anyone claiming to be "certified" is totally flat out lying.

NO PROBLEM!!! It's actually a piece of cake for those trained at the beach to do this inland: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYfHlZWAZ8SId7M You should learn about the sport before you try to make statements about that which you know absolutely nothing about. It makes no sense when you don't have even the most basic skills to argue with the best pilot and instructor in the world. Why can't you do what even brand new SUPER students can do?
