I've found Loctite to be necessary for me.

I would also secure the bolts with a drop of loctite.

That is a FANTASTIC question - one I wish more people would ask... The wooden props cost about HALF the price of carbon fiber props, and are the most commonly broken or replaced part on a Paramotor. That being said, for beginners who might land on their backside every once in a while, it's good to have durable or inexpensive equipment in case you need to replace a prop. We'd rather people have an extra prop and keep flying, than spend twice the money and have only one prop. Many Dealers love selling "carbon fiber parts" in general because they break so easily and they can then capitalize on selling replacement parts. They "look cool" and that's about it. The only reason you would want anything else is if you absolutely had to transport the machine as small as possible... Then, a carbon fiber prop that will collapse into pieces may be an option. Wooden props are also super easy / cheap to repair. If you get a small nick in the prop, some wood glue and sand paper can fix your problems... With other materials, the repair is expensive and time consuming. Our company culture is all about safety, and "less being more." We sell many more Paramotors than others out there because of our prices, how long the gear lasts, and not selling people crap they don't need - just to make a few more bucks ;) Hope that helps! -Rob W. Also keep in mind wood props are heavier and thus accelerate slower which I why I prefer carbon fiber.
