Thanks for all the information. I don't have Paramount Plus and I never did have Showtime when I had cable, so I don't think I would be missing much not having this package. I do have Netflix and Amazon Prime for OD movies, so this entertains me enough for now. Plus have an OTA antenna for my local news. I know Paramount is very good, but will hold off for right now. Yep, if you've never had either it's likely not worth it for someone in your situation. They do have some good content, especially if you're a Trekkie or like original content.

At it’s current price, I favor Paramount Plus. I don’t believe that they will keep two $11 channels for $12 bucks.

I like Paramount+ for the Star Trek and Taylor Sheridan content.

H&I is the channel for Star Trek. Paramount+ isn't required. H&I is available on free/cheap services. It's available for free as an OTA channel.

Reason I watch Paramount Plus is because I was in 86, a lot of Classic Nickelodeon shows like Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life, Hey Dude, Double Dare and more are available on Paramount Plus. I know they don't have all the classic Nickelodeon shows and game shows. Hopefully in the near future, they will.

If you can get a free trial, which I was lucky to get it for 3 months, I used it on the Showtime bundle. It’s not bad, I guess there’s just not a lot of interesting new content aside from Star Trek. But I’m not sure it’s worth the full price especially if they’re going to inevitably raise the price again.

I use Paramount plus to watch my country(🇸🇻❤ El Salvador)-CONCACAF Nations League, Champions League, NFL on CBS games, etc.

My family keeps Parmount Plus and we change plan as want to. I like having my local CBS channel when not using the TV and antenna.

Yes if into whatever paramount films which wasn’t taken from them by Warner bros. Or into tv networks they or CBS studios owns.

No, that's a linear channel only available on cable, satellite, or live TV streaming services.

@@shanew7361 I believe it was on September 3rd or 4th. I signed up for it on the 4th for half price. I would check with customer service and see if they can do anything for you.

I got an email in August alerting me that I could get a free one month subscription. At the end of the month I tied to cancel and got a offer for two more months free. At that time , I will be considering a monthly or yearly subscription.

Since a stand alone Showtime subscription costs $10.99, I would have to say that at $11.99 it's worth it when you consider all it includes and the fact that it's no adds. I don't think that I would be interested in the basic add supported plan though, especially hearing how bad the adds are.

That's definitely a fair point. Add that plus local CBS access it does work for the right person. Yep, they're among the worst in the space.

Yes if want 2 tons nostalgia content some original content and if interested in showtime content then yes it is for you.

I would NEVER pay for Showtime. When I flipped to it while I was in a motel room, and Billions or The Chi was on, I changed channels.

@@samuelfrick3475 CBS Sports Network is so far down the totem pole that Nielsen doesn't even track it for ratings. It's not an expense issue, it's due to most of their existing sports broadcasting contracts not including streaming.
