I’d have probably been a bit miffed if I’d payed to see this in a theater, but a way to pass an hour and a half on streaming it was alright. Not as bad as Jaws 4 and not nearly as bad as these reviews seem to try to make it. It certainly isn’t the worst film ever made. It’s a good bet that a lot of these people don’t like this film for a whole other reason, and it’s not the dialog, or the fact that they don’t show the shark every 10 minutes.

I saw this movie recently and I actually pleasantly surprised that it didn't totally suck. I did find it lacking in shark scenes, and the character drama was a little thin. But it isn't the standard SyFy channel slop you get with the average shark movie.
