Inspirational sets, every time I see something from you guys it gets me going, are you guys synchronising the 909/808/SH101 with the ableton project through MIDI? Or are you just syncing by pressing play or stop in the synths sequencers? Always wonder this when I see your live sets

i can't spot any dedicated fx units in their setup - unless their mixer provides fx they use i would assume they are just cranking up the gain on those channels like hell (50db of gain will give you similar sounding overdrive/distortion on your hats etc)

@@emilyschmanks Possible. i also didn´t any outbord gear. but i might be something in the ableton channel. it´s definetly distorted. mybe it´s an certian tool. maybe on of these korg delay. they do a lot of dirt. just ordered after check there gear :D

​@@sawlin2829 yeah it might very well be something in ableton, but my gut feeling says they would probably use something more immediate seeing as their signature overdriven sound is something that comes back in almost all of their productions. i've owned a monotron delay and it's great fun. doubt they're using it for distortion here because they're already using them for the delay and whatnot. maybe some diehard fan will come forward and confirm what they use for that :')

@@sawlin2829 its ableton. Their master clipping for 6 db, in video there is a screen with ableton TO be honest, ableton master clipping sound pretty good, sometimes music sounds worse after bounce, because its noramized and got no clipping in ableton
