The one with the tree reminds me of an urban legend from my hometown Karlskoga in Sweden. There was this very rich woman who, when she died, said that if anyone ever tried to chop down the trees in her forest the town would burn. And it actually happened. They chopped down a few of those trees and one day later lots of different houses in our town was on fire with no apparent reason behind it. She's called "Boås Beata" but I think her real name was Sigrid if I remember correctly.

I've been to the park at number 3, swung on the swings when I was younger. My mother is an empath, and whilst me and my brothers were playing, she started crying because the ghostly children that came to her asked her to play with them, and if they could play with us too. I even saw a swing swinging by itself when we took a break from playing, and it wasn't a windy day, nor did we make any movements to move it

Matt you need to do one about Wiccan history please
@kenhollis61976 жыл бұрын
That would be simple enough to do. Wicca's history begins in the 1930s.
@kenhollis61976 жыл бұрын
@JRodgesevant Absolutely, modern Paganism has its roots and influences. What I meant was that Wicca, as an established tradition, is from the 20th century. I've been practicing what is pretty much Wicca for over 17 years now, although I simply call myself a Pagan. I think it's important to remember that we, in the modern age, don't practice or believe, generally, exactly as our ancestors did. Partially because of modern conveniences, and partially because much lore has been lost.

I've been to the Dead Children's Playground recently and I actually saw one of the swings moving by itself. However, I think that it was probably just the wind. Also, the reason why the playground is there is so that children who are attending funerals can play there to be distracted from the funeral.

The play ground in the graveyard was a pretty common thing to see in old graveyards and were built for the living children to be able to play with there dead siblings. I absolutely love graveyards especially the really old ones I find them fascinating and a good view into the lives and deaths of our past. I have visited a lot of very old graveyards in Australia and have seen a lot of these play grounds usually near or in the children's section. Some areas like the one in this video actually up date the playgrounds witch I believe is absolutely lovely but most just let them rot away.

Oh I'm scared of graveyards I can't go near them they make me so feel so saaad 😣
@ghidorahs1fan2096 жыл бұрын
I agree they are sad but I don't just see sadness there I see a lot of love. By reading the stones and even just looking at the designs you can see just how much the family and friends of the person truly loved them.
@ghidorahs1fan2096 жыл бұрын
Also you shouldn't be scared of them they are actually one of the safest places in our modern society. I was homeless as a teen and slept in a lot of graveyards as they are safe and almost no one gos there at night. Even if you find yourself stuck somewhere with no way to get home or a safe place to sleep go to the nearest graveyard and sleep there especially on the black marble slabs if you are cold as they keep the heat from the sun the best.

Matthew I have one for you that happen to me when I was a little kid I was sitting on my mom's bed playing her boyfriends SEGA game gear playing the original Mortal Kombat game on it in the dark and my mom had a big round mirror on her wall and when looked up at it I saw the characters one after another forming and changing in it so when I saw this I ran out of the room into the front closet and hid in it and my mom took me out and put me in the shower with the cold water on and all my clothes on then she went in to the room and prayed and said she saw a figure of a women rise up out of the bed and disappear into the air and then my mom's boyfriend took the game and after my mom told him to get rid of it so he did but not the system only the game and after that we did not move out we just lived there and nothing more ever happen to us again

I visited the Devils Tree yrs ago as I used to live near the area. It was a group of us and 2 of ppl got out of the car to investigate the tree. I was too scared to get out of the car bc the vibes there were eerie af! When my friends got back to the car, they said that there was a rock near the tree that was hot to the touch. The tree grows no leaves. We booked when a deer almost ran into the car. Funny thing is that there was a house on that land and all of the lights were on. I found it strange bc it seemed odd that someone lived there yet let the property's landscape stay unkempt. The grass was as tall as me and I didn't see any cars on the property....

Hey Matt! Just thought you'd appreciate this haunted item that I heard about when I went to my grandmother's home town in Carolina, Colombia. There is a cemetery that has crypts along the walls and most of them are decorated with pictures and names, but there is one in a small section that is just an unpainted, dilapidated heart. The story goes that a few kids made fun of the heart and soon after, were unable to speak for a week.
