After the deeply haunting ending of the tape that was created by the freshly quit Michael Badal, the team is left stunned. Not only does it leave them further guessing as to what is haunting them, but now it opens an entirely new line of questioning, all surrounding one of the cornerstones of the team: Woods. This is ending up just like them. Everyone is blaming Matt just like everyone blames Nelson, Matt is the boss just like Nelson. Woods is Matt’s second in command(if I remember right)just like Wes was Nelson’s and Woods tries to find balance whenever Sam and Matt fight just like Wes did for Nelson and Deb. And that leaves Sam to match up with Deb. Matt is Nelson, Woods is Wes, and Sam is Deb. What if the ghost is try to hint at something that got brought to woods home. Like the tape or something like that. What all was brought to Wood’s home? Edit: there have been a few things that have been brought there and the hello Woods could be a warning that something is after that thing(like another phantom). Everyone is saying the ghost is threatening Woods but it could be a warning that someone is after something or someone is watching him and the others. But on the other end it could be trying to break up the team. I hate to be this person but I don’t have anyway to get Matt, Sam, and Woods to see this on anything except for KZbin so can I get some help to get them to see this?

Honestly pretty solid theory. I like the fact that you pointed out similarites between the three person team that is Matt, Woods, and Sam and was Nelson, Wes, and Deb. The only thing I feel is maybe different is that Matt and Ben are more similar. However, either idea could work depending on the route everything takes. I also like your idea of the voice being more of a warning than something sinister. Yes stuff has been brought to Woods place, so it would make sense if something tried targeting it as a place to start from rather than a whole studio. Neat ideas!!! 👍👍

Okay... WOW... let's evaluate. Number one is that one of the small details noticed, is that Mat is dressed very similarly to how Ben was when then met him at the studio, minus the mask. Next, 2 people quit over the course of 2 videos, the team is slowly being split, and this time it's not entirely anyone's fault. No one said anything to anyone trying to be mean, it was all pressure that was placed by the voices appearing. Lastly, if we take into account what Ben was saying when they saw him, we know that Ben was also trying to figure everything out, solve the mystery, just like Matt and the team are... Sooo, with that in mind, we also know that everyone thought Ben was crazy or just didn't believe him in general leaving him alone to go insane. Now, this leaves us with 2 possible options from what I can see. Either the Team will slowly completely split leaving Matt by himself to try and solve stuff, however, because he has subject 4, or basically us, he's not totally alone meaning that hopefully, he won't suffer the same fate as Ben. Or somehow, because of Matt's character or another development, they're able to find a way to bring everyone back together to solve this part of the mystery and give them some peace. At least those are my thoughts. I could be horribly wrong, but it's what makes sense in my head right now. Take from it what you will.

I feel like in all of the craziness that it will lead to the whole group splitting and the ghost is going to go after something personal for each person making them want to quit. For example Woods quit because it knew where he lives therefore destroying the security and safety of a place where he could go to get away from work and such. Maybe for Sam it might go after the people she cares about most possibly the people in her life who aren’t even involved with this to begin with (aka Ryan or her family) and so making her quit in order to protect them. Causing both subject 2 & 3 to leave would lead to Bailey being the only one left but instead of having something of hers threatened she leaves because Matt might become so engulfed in trying to fix everything/bring peace back to everyone that it’ll turn him insane like Ben causing it to become too much for her to handle without the other two being there the only difference is that Matt would still have subject 4 to turn to when he needs it but hopefully this won’t be the case and woods decides to come back but if it is how far is everyone willing to go before they realize enough is enough?

When I was watching I had the same realization the key fob that was copied was Woods and now this is directly related to woods going to woods home and now Woods is gone maybe ‘they’ who ever they or it is, is picking off people on the team like how Mike quit and now they can’t ask him to find out what different encrypted messages mean so now Matt and his team have to find out how to find out what encrypted messages mean, anyway they might make Bailey quit out of pressure then Samantha and then Matt will be by himself and hear the voices so loud just like Ben and be convinced that he is crazy. they key fob was explained. The phantom had a RFID scanner that picks up the signal from one fob and transfers it to another. The reader was able to scan Wood's fob because he was right there on the roof. Had it been Matt or Samantha on the roof it would have been their fobs.

This episode broke my heart. I don’t want to see Woods (or Mike) quit. However, I was just thinking. I feel like this has a lot more to do with Woods than we realize. I mean, the key fob that was used to break into the studio was under Woods’ name. The Mountaineer was left at Spooky House (a place Woods hung out at in high school). And he’s been the only one to actually get attacked by the phantom (when he got hit in the head). I dont have a theory as to why Woods is so involved but it seems like whatever is happening is aimed towards him. I’ve also seen people comparing Syntech to Spellbound and I 100% agree. These are the comparison theories I have: -Ben has compared himself with Matt every time they’ve spoken to each other. I feel like the voices are going to cause everyone to leave while Matt wants to keep going and figure it out - just like Ben. -When the three of them split in s2, Sam seemed to empathize and agree with Deb. I know us fans like to see Deb as a smart, techy, computer head - just like Sam (she’s usually the one filming with a huge camera on her shoulder). -Bailey is quiet & observant. She reminds me of Jordan, maybe. Bailey wasn’t there in the beginning, she started being in the videos & investigations later on - just like Jordan. In one of the recent videos where they’re going through the filing cabinet they find Jordan’s employee file. Someone says “she started way later”. With all that being said, I haven’t been able to come up with a Syntech comparison for Woods. These are just my thoughts/theories🤷🏻‍♀️

I feel like they're becoming more and more engolfed with this mystery. History repeats itself and so will Syntec. I agree it's gone too far and too close to home but Matt can't get too frustrated with the gang/others for quitting. I can only wonder if this continues and no answers come from their Investigations, Matt will become something, or rather SOMEONE, he doesn't wish to become- especially with being subjected to the serum. As Ben has said many times now "We are the same" that could imply the way the main names of syntec, him, Nelson, Deb, and Wes, and the company itself fell apart could and possibly are happening to them just in a different way (cause Spellbound isn't a genetic lab that does human testing)

theory of this ep: As i said last vid, matt is becoming more like Syphus, he promised he would stop when it got to far, Woods was visibly uncomfortable when he saw that the recording was going near his apartment, and i thought "oh matt would stop after he saw how uncomfortable Woods was" nope, he kept going until they were at Woods apartment, and Woods being scared over the fact that a ghost knows where he lives is understandable. Both Mike and Woods quit after being scared away from the ghost. I'm betting that what Mike said in the last ep would be foreshadowing the future of the crew. Next ep might involve something about Sam or Bailey, causing them to quit out of fright. (re-posting on reddit)

Ben said he had no choice but to listen to the voices and look where is now, isolated. It makes sense that the voices change depending on who they're talking to. I saw another comment saying that the voice was trying to split the group up one by one and that might be true. The voices isolated Ben from everyone else because he was the only one hearing them. Maybe the voice or ghost is scared and doesn't want everything to be found out, it's trying to protect everything. So maybe it knows how far each person is willing to go, so it'll push everyone out, one by one
