I am a Hispanic man with special needs, I was in a classroom that had so many black people and they thought I was white. They hated me because of the fact that I'm special needs. They also wanted to beat me up because their ancestors were slaves, so I had to tell them that my Native American were slaves as well and us people with special needs were often sent to the insane asylum or got executed, so they should learn that calling special needs the "R-Word" is just as bad as calling African Americans the "N-Word".

I think the reason the sergeant started hassling the paraplegic guy was because he was racist, pure and simple--It did my heart good when the captain shows up and quickly relieves the sergeant of his duty. Its a shame because this action cost the sergeant his job and his rank, which took him years to achieve. If he wasn't fired completely he was reduced back to a rookie in a matter of seconds and given a desk job. (HeeHee--I love It!!!) Fortunately for the paraplegic driver the captain was also black.

The cop is guilty of both assault and battery. In addition to being racist, he escalated a minor traffic violation and lied to cover his ass. The cop should have been arrested on the spot, fired with cause and charges brought against him. Allowing that pig to remain on the force in any capacity is what gives all police a bad reputation. Saying it is a shame that he lost his job and his rank is over simplifying what occurred.

Every community has good and bad people. It is really difficult to live a good life in this world especially if your community is top notch. I have at times felt that way when in a crowd of the same feathered group, but came to realize that it is a falsehood of feeling good. When you are in actual trouble you should remember who had helped you, am not sure that your group will be the ones who have helped, since we will not dare to show our loosing side to any of our close acquaintances. We need to know that we need to take what is rightly ours even in the eyes of opposition and leave to the rest what is rightly theirs, thereby bringing justice to this unjust world. God Bless !

It's sad that the real life paraplegic wasn't treated like this, he was dragged from his car by his hair and dragged to the police unit and than taken to jail, because they didn't believe he was paralyzed.

I'm so sorry that this happened to this black man. Not all of us are racist and I despise the way black people are treated. It's Not The country, it's the people. Wasn't like this in the 60s and70s. It's disgusting!
I have become to the point walking is very hard on me. When I go shopping I use a mobility cart to get a round. I used to walk distances and enjoyed it. Just within the I ask few years I let a hospital work on my back where they were going to block my nerve endings making it easier to walk. Well that didn't work and find walking is next to impossible and end to use a mobility scooter.

“ when I called the state and there’s no record of him being handicap” thats because hes not a crook dude. What you think the office have records of everyone. And if so he could have been recently haddicapped. Maybe some accident
@mar4kl3 жыл бұрын
In some (all?) states, a "full hand controls" restriction is stamped on the paraplegic's driver's license. However, my understanding is that this happens the next time he renews his license, and would not be required for him to drive up until renewal time. A handicap indication on the license plates, handicap window sticker or handicap mirror tag would only be required for parking purposes. Lack of any of these should not be considered probable cause for hauling someone out of the car and making an arrest. (Disclaimer: I'm not a lawyer, and even if I were, you should look up applicable laws in your municipality if you have reason to believe anything I said here applies to you. Free legal advice from KZbin is worth what you pay for it!)

Joe, I feel very sad for you. My oldest son is a police officer. He is one of the kindest, compassionate and fair people you would ever want to know. These statements are from people we know, not just me, as his dad. I hope that you can open your heart and mind to our LEOs. They have a very difficult job. There are things that my son sees and has to deal with that are traumatic and heart ♥️ breaking. Wishing you peace and a newfound joy in your life, Joe. 🙏

I have let my former job coach know about this channel. It takes a lot of skill of being a police officer. 90% of the time, Verne who plays the police captain is the hero. He teaches us what can happen when we step out of line. Hopefully once the COVID-19 outbreak settles down, my job coach might look at this channel as one of the videos to show in Job Club. When I worked, there was a new program called Job Club which is a way for people with disabilities to land a job and how to keep a job. What Verne shows us is that if you mess up, your supervisor can get provoked with you pretty fast.
