Jasper County Police Officer Deputy Doug McDonald is on vacation, driving through Mango Park when he is pulled over for running through a stop sign. The officer walks up to Doug's car and asks for his license and registration. Doug doesn't recognize the policeman, although he should, because not only did they have an altercation fairly recently, but the cop in question is none other than Captain James Porter.

My add on: Under the charges of driving with a suspended license and threatening a police officer, Douglas had to pay a $10,500 fine, and was sentenced to prison for 10 years. During his time in prison, he received a notice that he was permanently removed from a police force in his hometown. He was also heavily assaulted in prison after picking fights with the other inmates, leading him to be permanently paralyzed from the waste down.

Why does *"Officer Deputy"* McDonald think that because he's a police officer that it's okay for him to commit all these infractions and not get punished for them? Good for Capt. Porter for arresting McDonald. It should serve as a lesson to those who think that because they're officers of the law, that they're above the law and can break the law without consequences.
