Rabbi, I did always wonder why we confess in plural. I am married to a man who insists on working every Shabbos. He works 7 days a week. He doesn't do it because I am a financial weight on him. I work with him 6 days per week. Every Friday morning I have a burst of excitement followed by heartbreak knowing it will be another Shabbos with the candles alone. He tell me rebuking him only pushes him away but I don't want my soul shot through the worlds or burned because I didn't say enough. I worry that he has already killed all of his souls and is not much more than a stone. I feel responsible for him but I also sometimes wish I would leave him and marry a real Jew who loves HaShem and Shabbos, mitzvot. I tell HaShem my problem. I ask for wisdom and for understanding. Thank you for this shiur. Good Shabbos from California.

God says he forgives you. How can you question that? It is said in the Torah over and over! About Yom Kippur and about Tshuva in general. When you say the blessing that God forgave you there is no question if there was it would be Gods name in vain.

But how do you really know G-d forgave you??? Think about that...
