Without the permission of Supreme court, Kerala police and Neyyatinkara court has no rights to take over this case, investigate and provide such a verdict. The accused belong to Tamilnadu, and the crime happened in Tamilnadu within the jurisdiction of Kuzhithurai. Hence, only Tamilnadu police and the TN court can investigate. Further, this judgment is the decision of the Kerala Govt. lawyer and the emotional one of the Judge. In my opinion, the mother of the accused and her uncle must be convicted for a life sentence. She misguided her child. Also, when Kolkata court convicted Sanjay Roy for a life in prison in the rape and murder of a doctor, how can the verdict become two folded for similar cases?
