I never knew this level could be so skipped like that. Funny thing is, even with that amazing display and shortcuts, it still takes longer to beat than a Sonic Forces level played legit.

The funny part is both Rooftop Run 1s (day and night) are normally around 4 minutes long, but they're both horribly broken and now sub 2...

it's not based on time... rings, tricks, enemies and checkpoint speed bonuses factor into score as well

@supasonicboom Its so he can jump off the invisble wall, thats what gives him the speed to go down and hit the other wall at the right angel and get above and below the textures.

@Dhanzz23 Doing these insane glitches proves that your skilled at this game. If he sucked, he wouldnt be able to do the glitches. It requires practice, something that he obviously been doing alot. Good job Paraxade0!

@XxSuperShadicxX its not stomping its sliding. i don't know why but personally im a speedrunner. and from my experience its way faster then the air boost technique we had back in the days. u simply hold the B botton and quick step note: keep pressing the quick step bottons a hold the B don't i repeat don't press the B cause it might mess it up.

@windknife idk, I think it had a really good balance of 3D and 2D... perhaps the 2D part was a little too drawn out though, especially the carts. I'm also a freak who thinks Adabat was the most well-designed stage in Unleashed, so...

You know, revisiting this out of nostalgia, it's kinda sad that a glitched-out run is still generally as long as the fastest runs on Generations. I mean yeah, Generations controls and plays much better in general but I guess that alternate pathways just means that there isn't as much linear length to levels, what with the limits of hardware constraints and development times.
