To the lads, I just want to say I stumbled upon you all around 3-4 months ago and it was magical I love how you found yourselves and musical identity in Germany but have the musical sensibilities from Australia where as here in the states we have been programmed to believe the wrong things. Love the harmonization, funk riffs, the Beatles vibes, and Patrick's vocal style on his tracks like your fault or closer to fine. I totally get the feel of 70's folk and 70s soft pop. That is wonderful. Favorite tracks are be myself, games of luck, comedown, overnight, and herefore. Take a deep breath unify before you go on a rampage tour and always remember your roots no matter how big you get its your souls foundation that steers the ship in uncharted waters, with peace love admiration and respect. I've listened to this track a fair amount of times since yesterday. So much to say. First, and I know you guys must be tired of hearing this, but can't escape the legacy, you are truly the Daft Punk's spiritual children. There's always a hint of bittersweet melancoly in your songs and despite the massive grooves, some sadness (the lyrics). But also and that's new, I couldn't help but be reminded of Queen while listening to Free. I like the more acoustic sound for this one, I enjoyed that with Lighten up too, and I can't help but notice a lot of people criticising the music and thinking maybe they just want the same sound you had when you started. I personally like your experimentations and while I always welcome and love the more electronic musics (Gamesofluck !!) I like that you don't limit yourself and are willing to try and explore different facets of music. Your songs never fail to bring me joy and I can't thank you guys enough for that, I'm really excited for the world "reopening" and the possibility of live concerts again and will be looking forward to see you live after missing the opportunity last summer at Vida Festival. Much love from France, keep doing what you do and help the world be a happier groovier place !!
