Nikolas Cruz was just as bad only he didn't show one ounce of emotion, none..Brooks thought he was fooling everyone. It was hard to watch the way he composed himself, but I think it helped solidify just how evil, disconnected, and delusional he really is. All he managed to do was to justify the fact that he is truly evil.

Darh-rell's body language pissed her off. As it should have !! Along with many other people speaking. What I would have liked to see .....was the podium and microphone, where people spoke about their tragedy, was placed in front of him. Where he needed to sit with eyes open, facing each person speaking. Not rocking back and forth and or eye rolling. With a couple of law enforcement standing right beside Brooks.....where he had to look at everyone. ! And that mask.....he should have been made to take it off! Per the Judge.

My mom met this woman a few years back through her job. We were horrified to hear that her and her daughter had been hit in the parade. I am so happy she put Darrell in his place. Throughout the trial, it was easy to laugh at Brooks as the judge held his hand as he crashed and burned his way through the proceedings. Now that we've finally got to listen to the victims, the ones who truly matter here, it certainly sets a different tone in that courtroom.

I think the victims would WANT you to be joyful. They don’t want pain for anyone else. You diminishing your light or hiding your smile from people you love doesn’t do the victims any good. What she said at 3:49 seemed to ruffle his feathers (though of little consolation). A subtle shift of his body language went from deliberately dismissive to pissed and disrespected, "You should not be allowed to be a father to your children. I am so glad that you are being kept from them. The shit you would teach them would make them as evil and miserable as a person that you are."
