I feel as though Lauren Graham and Mae Whitman have better chemsitry as mother daughter verses her and Alexis Bledel. To me I feel her and Alexis have more of a sister chemistry. I think that is partly to do with the Alexis and Lauren being 14 years apart in real life and the fact Lorelie was a teen mom as well. I also think that Sara is more of an adult than Lorelie and has gone through hard times.

Karlee Craziness Appearance-wise, they’re way more believable as mother and daughter than Lauren and Alexis. Alexis looked too perfect and doll-like to be Lauren’s daughter lol

and actually im not really sure about Lauren and Alexis´s relationship but Mae calls Lauren her bff all the time and they keep close until this day and the show has been over for 4 years or more, that means something.
