I have a son born the same year/month as Ocean and daughter born a couple weeks before Kingston so I understand the lack of sleep...🤦🏼‍♀️ it has been so fun to watch your vlogs and see your family reach the same milestones as my family. Parenting is hard but you have to set the boundaries and expectations when your child is little. Don't waste your time fighting with any kid when he's kicking and screaming. Carlos had the right idea- just walk away and let them calm down before you try to reason with them. Otherwise you start negotiating with a two year old. And don't give in to a kid when they're screaming and kicking either, or else he begins to learn that all he has to do is throw a tantrum to get his way. Kids are smart and they only get away with the things you ALLOW them to get away with. I grew up old school, probably similar to you guys, and turned out fine. Just like yourselves. Remember that. To all the new parents out there: You can love your kid AND still be the parent. Set rules and expectations from an early age and your kid will grow up just fine. Don't let them walk over you. YOU are in control. Our job is not to give them the best of everything, our job is to love them the best we can and teach them how to grow up to be functioning and contributing adults within their communities.

Love that Carlos is willing to learn and serve in as many departments of the Church as he can. So he can be ready to be used whenever help is needed. As someone who once didn't really have back up for doing the PowerPoint/Songs. It can be overwhelming sometimes when you are the only one who knows how to do something. I thank God that now I'm no longer the only. And appreciate everyone who is/was always willing to lend a hand 😊

Happy Friday!! So happy to see a new vlog from you both, the kids are so adorable, Kingston and his chubby legs, that is the cutest, my son is now 18 so I am enjoying your little ones, their faces are full of so many expressions! I try to use clean products also not only for my family but our pet too, I never use Bleach or any of that, that includes dish soap, laundry, I try to do homemade cleaners also, using lemons etc. Thanks for the awesome vlog, Carlos, your singing is beautiful, love it when you sing to your family! Hi, piece of advice for ya, I've raised three kids, don't stress over them eating. I promise you, when they are hungry, they'll eat! Pick your battles. I understand your struggle, Alexa. My husband tells me to go get rest and I struggle so hard with it. I know he can do it, but I have a way I do things and I worry. Or I feel like I'm abandoning him. You're not alone! But you need rest, so take the chances when you get them.

Well, have you thought about maybe trying to get him to sleep before 8? We had this issue he’d get up at 6am Nap at 2pm get up around 4/5pm. Then going to bed at 9. Our doctor said he’s not getting enough sleep. So we started taking naps at 12:30-1 for only an hour or two. He goes to bed at 7:30. He’s finally sleeping all the way through the night. But he’s 5 years old now. It took us awhile to get with it.

At one stage we had 2 children and both under the age of 2years. So yes, it's tough, but it is DEFINITELY the most rewarding EXPERIENCE EVER. The love our kids have for us can't be bought with any amount of money. So.... ENJOY every tired moment, they grow up so quickly. :)
