I hope that my aunt and uncle who were half british and half filipino could watch this. They are hesistant to come to Philippines because they have this impression that its not safe to travel. They’d rather visit other asian countries, which is sad. They’ve been to Thailand, hk and Vietnam and skip the Philippines and my late grandmother aunt was deeply hurt when she found out about that. I admire both of you for using this platform to share ur great experience and spreading how magnificent to live in the Philippines. God bless ur family! Xoxo

Kim, thank you for relating the fun childhood you had. I remember similar times in my childhood of just all day running around with cousins and feeling wonderful about going to a sari sari store for some sweets (sweet and spicy pusit in my case). Tom's parents are great fun to be with. God bless!

I think you should show your parents the Luneta park - jose rival monument is, the old Intramouruswhere old Spanish sites are and the china town area. Like these main Manila City cuz Manila is the capital city. Si many affordable Chinese best cuisines in Manila. Then perhaps one beautiful beach sites in La Union and straight to Baguio . These are just suggestions.

i remembered when my husband first visited me there in the Philippines, i took him to almost every public transport in there, from tricycle, jeepneys, mrt/lrt and the pedicabs. lol! he enjoyed it!
