Parents REACTION To Pulls In My 550HP ARIEL ATOM

Now that my 2011 Ariel Atom ‪@PFIBrent‬ built the new engine for is home, it's time to play! It made wild power on the dyno, now let's see what that feels like on the road. I took tons of people for rides in the fastest car they've ever been in and the reactions were mixed between "that's insane", and "don't you ever do that again".

I'm guessing the bugs aren't bad in Kansas. I rodey motorcycle to work just the other day here in SE Wisconsin. Hit something with yellow goo at 90mph on the highway. I thought as it exploded in my face shield on my full face helmet "that would have hurt allot with just riding glasses on". But glad everyone had fun in that project car.

When You, JR, were the passenger the, You clearly, obviously were aware of the vehicle and dealing with fast vehicles. One of My first observations is the need, requirement for a front safety shield, which also improves the aerodynamics, The vehicle is smaller, lighter than the Garret's Cleetus Leroy, C6, yet similar idea. The vehicle will also improve speed, stability, quickness, with a lightweight fiberglass, carbon fiber body. Clearly this Ariel has more wHP than weight currently and can achieve more power, speed, quickness, and much improvement with some small aero, which will not add much weight. My thoughts compare an Indy racer, which is slightly larger, with 900 wHP, 1400 lbs, with avg. track lap speeds of 240-50 mph around the oval. This vehicle could easily achieve very quick 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 mi speeds, track lap speeds and performance, if You want and are prepared to have the necessary safety equipment, modifications and training.
