@cookiemonsta638

@@Amy623 so true! In Islam we believe that strength isn’t determined by physical ability, but by how well you can control your anger. I just like to think about how parents tell their children to control their anger as kids because it’s not nice, yet the parent yells and screams at the child anyway! It’s like, what do you expect your child to do if that’s what you’re showing them? How would you feel if your parent was screaming at you? Then later in life they wonder why their child is so rude to them, well no duh! Some can really be hypocritical in that sense and it’s sad to see that this is the norm. Some adults lose all discipline as soon as they don’t have their mommy to reprimand them anymore, and forget that there’s still God watching over them.

The fact that you are silent zith an ugly face Means that you are not feeling safe to speak your opinion Not that you didn’t say anything because you don’t have anything to say A kid/adult is a person not a wall and shouldn’t be a punishing bag to their parents

In case parents are not that understanding. We as children should always remember to treat them with the best behaviour for the sake of Allah, anything less than best is sinful. Someone being silent doesn't necessarily mean they're feeling "unsafe" rather they're controlling their words so that it doesn't come out as hurtful. Considering the amount of sacrifice and hardwork a parent puts in their child, A child has no right to be rude to their parents no matter what they say. Ofcourse we can correct them if their wrong and try to communicate with them but that doesn't means we can fight or raise our voice. Ofcourse even parents are not allowed to be unfair to their children, but this video is regarding haw a child should behave if the parent is not being just in the moment.

Why are we ALWAYS putting pressure on kids to respect their parents and not putting the same pressure on parents ? Like it should really be the opposite cause Kids are never abusive, they come out of the mother’s womb pure and innocent, and that’s when the parents start to project their unhealthy fears onto their childs (fears they shouldn’t have), project their own insecurities, yell and get angry over their child’s different opinion or over something so little instead of empathizing with the child. It should’ve the OPPOSITE !

@C.L.O.U.D Most parents are very abusive to their children. How is that tracking children anything? The child is only developing resentment and hate towards his parents and then parents wonder why their children misbehave. Allah doesn't like anyone oppressing anyone even if the opressors are our parents. Parents need to heal their generational trauma before having kids. They need deep psychotherapy!

@@Amy623Most of the parents do thsi when they get old. We should focus more on what the Quran says about parents when they get old. It says do not even say uff, if only saying uff is bad image how worse is saying more than uff. And yes it is indeed difficult but your parents are the gateway to enter Jannah. And sometimes we don't really understand them maybe there could be something that they are worried about but donot share with us. Just do it for the sake of Allah.

Whenever im with my dad i can joke and rarely ever raise my voice nor act insolent but whenever im with my mum, i would prefer not being near her especially whenever she's doing work in case her emotions are unstable and the one nearest to her will be yelled at or degraded for not able to help her that instant. And oh boy she holds no patience or care if we busy or not at that time. So yeah i just leave or go into my room so I don't have to deal with the anger and yellings. There are times i replied back indecent ways but very rarely because you know i just lost it at the time. Rather than her saying thank you, she started telling more stuff to do, my brain just lost all patience because i just wanted to eat and said "you're welcome" because all i wanted was getting thanked but she lacks of that a lot among her children,. making me hard to say nice words to her. They're right, how you treat your parents is how your children treat you but i also would add how you treat your kids will mirror how your kids will treat you.

Rather than yelling back if possible you can sit with them when you are both calm and explain how their screaming or yelling hurts you and also for them to know this because we don't want them to be punished for their words or actions, it's so they may also ask Allah for forgiveness aswell as from you before they and you stand in front of you creator, I pray for the children and our parents to try our best to be of good manners and character bur we are not perfect and whatever anger we feel is not going to be justified once they have left this dunya, I know it's hard but they raised us with however they knew best, you only have one mother and father, for every hurtful thing they have done remember the hundreds of good things they have done.
