I want to know about the parents of the criminal, are they also gang members? Are they from around here? What do they do for living?

You'd think the punishment would fit the damage, imagine the closest person you have on this earth and them just being gone the next moment, unfair.

I agree with the known gang members not going to school like I said earlier I think their parents should be arrested and jailed and they should be put in state custody so they can get better parenting and help but this situation happened off school grounds the school has nothing to do with it this is parents and children only

They are letting minors who was involved with it go back to the school though

All the "safety" in the world cannot replace proper parenting. We need to quit leaning on the government to be a proxy parent for kids. The system wasn't built for that, and it's not the governments place to be doing it anyway.
@erickkuhni635923 күн бұрын
... yes, but ... this is for the parents who are doing "proper parenting". They don't want to send their kids to school with the gang member kids who aren't getting proper parenting, and whose parents aren't going to respond to your lectures.

Gangs been here since the 90s now you guys wanna do something how you think people become gang members either scared or born into it which is Not rarely

CPS can move these kids to different schools and not tell them that they are gang members or that they have been arrested before

Utah has had a gang in issue for years but it’s gonna get worse unless the border gets closed… Utah is the crossroads for Fentanyl and other drugs because of the interstate. Lots of it here, so there’s a huge problem with dealer immigrants(most are gang members) they stay here long enough they have kids. Those kids grow up in these high schools 🤷🏼♂️… then what????

I am so sorry for these parents, I can only imagine the pain they are going through losing a child this way, horrible. The kid that stabbed their child needs to be behind bars for a long time. The issue here is that the schools are public and tax payers pay for them so they really can't kick a kid out because of arrest record these are minors. I don't see how they can keep kids out of the school if the crimes are done outside of the school grounds, they can only keep the kids out if they have been violent or misbehaved in the school.

This is just thinly veiled racism. All students regardless of race, orientations, creeds, backgrounds, etc. deserve to have a chance to be educated.
@amstock5512Ай бұрын
Most people believe that all children deserve to have an education (within reason). However, the school has an obligation to protect the safety of their students, first and foremost. The perpetrator in this case is a known gang member with a violent history. There are alternative educational programs available for those who cannot handle themselves in a safe and appropriate manner. Unfortunately, an innocent child is now dead.
