Spectacular video my friend. I have to admit my jealousy for you for being able to just stroll on down to the PDM boutique whenever you please! Not to mention having access to all the other wonderful boutiques in the city! Keep the videos coming and I honestly don't understand how you only have 2.3k subs!? These videos are top notch and I truly value your opinions and takes on all you review. I'm absolutely stoked for your review on Percival as well.

Frank Diesel thank you Frank! That really means a lot. I definitely could use more subscribers like you. Lots of great content coming up. I planned a lot of videos while I was in New York. There’s yet another video about Carlisle and Akaster coming soon at the same location. Also got a ton of content with a lot of well known reviewers coming soon too. Stay tuned and thank you for being so kind.

Love this video and super jealous you got to meet with Yvan. He did pretty good with simple explanation of horse breeding. When you take a Arabian or even thorough bread (consider high energy) mixed with bigger taller bone structure (work horse) you get what is called a warm blood. In the equestrian world (show jumping) we desire warm bloods for these two reasons. and Europe is truly the Mecca for horse breeding. And he is correct all of the race horses still have this DNA. My husband being from the Middle East introduced me to niche parfumerie because I really had no idea and after him dragging me and smelling I have such a better understanding and appreciation. Hands down De Marly is my favorite and it’s just ironic they base their names and history from wonderful animals such as the horse.
@JoeSCENTMe3 жыл бұрын
I love that you understand the breeding illustration because it really does help you understand the creative direction of the brand. You get these powerful and majestic middle eastern influences perfumes that have been “bred” for European (and American 😅) consumption. I’m so glad you appreciate this house and I too am a big fan of Yvan. He truly is a gentleman and wonderful person.

Did he say the perfume was 60-70% natural? Or did I misheard? I really need to sample Parfums de Marly. I was very underwhelmed with their sister brand, Initio Parfums so hopefully PDM will be more up my alley. ps. Love the ending shot. And Yvan Jacqueline is so nice and well spoken.
@JoeSCENTMe6 жыл бұрын
gunmetal24 thanks for staying all the way til the end. I had a bit of luck with how that came out that lead to the decision to throw that in there. Let’s just say that it unexpectedly worked out in the end. As for Initio, it’s not the sister company of PDM. That’s a very common assumption. The only similarity is the distribution channel and that’s it. I don’t know which ones you tried that were underwhelming but Blessed Baraka, Rehab and Side Effect are their top 3.
@gunmetal24456 жыл бұрын
JoeSCENTMe The ones I've tried are both Rehab and Side Effect. I should have clarified that it was very underwhelming for 300 USD a pop.
