I ordered Valaya blind after watching your review…👍🏾I received Valaya last week and I have gotten many compliments on this one and I wore it to work and received tons of compliments and that says alot because they are used to me wearing perfumes and don’t usually comment anymore. I have Casilli and never get compliments on her. So, I wear Casilli for myself. Delina Exclusif is my biggest compliment getter. And I have Meliora but I haven’t worn her that much but I need to wear her more. I don’t like Delina nope she wasnt for me. I never got compliments on Delina. I have a decant of Delina LaRosee but haven’t wore her much but I may buy the small size because I like her. 😊. So my top 3 are Delina exclusif, Valaya and Casilli / Meliora … btw I am not a fan of the Kilian LOVE DBS fragrances so Oriana gets on my nerves after wearing her 1 hour…something in my body chemistry cant wear it.

Thanks so much for your input. After wearing Valaya more I can say wow it does project and leaves a sillage. Me too I’ve never gotten a compliment on Cassili but she is still bae. Absolutely, Exclusif is the #1 compliment getter. Sometimes I forget I have it on but others around surely remind me with the compliments. I adore the note of black currant so Meliora is very easy to wear. I recently got Oriana because of a good sale, she almost didn’t make the cut for me but it is very nice on my skin. My top 3 are Delina Exclusif, La Rosee’ and Safanad (girl Delina would be in last place for me. That rhubarb is a no ma’am for me 🤢). I enjoyed your review even though I clutched my imaginary pearls when you put Exclusif in #5 position 🤣🤣

Hi Jessica, I understand a lot of people are turned off by the rhubarb in Delina. Oh I knew Delina Exclusif being #5 would be triggering to some 😂

Hey Ade after I played with the discovery set, I immediately purchased Meliora, followed by Cassili, then I purchased Delina and Delina Exclusif, I didn’t wear either of the Delina’s for a whole year, I really wasn’t a fan…. Just got caught up in the hype. Meliora and Cassili were my favorites. But then one day I reached for Delina Exclusif and fell in love…. I received compliment after compliment. I was like oh my…. Ok Delina I see you! After that I purchased La Rosee,. Oriana took me a minute to get into, and I agree I like it better than LDBS….. I just purchased Athalia still playing with her… and my interest is peaked with Valaya!

I think when we sniff many samples at the same time. We naturally pick a fav and neglect the others. So glad you revisited Meliora and Cassili both are beautiful. Also, I get the most compliments with Delina Exclusif too. Can’t believe we neglected her but she’s here to stay forever.

Hi Denise, see I knew I wasn’t the only one that didn’t vibe with the Arabian Exotics. Your fragrance style is dark and heavy hitting or light and fresh. So based off your videos that I’ve watched I think you would like Valaya.

I agree…Meliora is so underrated. I love it and it will probably be my next PDM purchase. I think people have problems with the fact that it doesn’t have the longevity that Delina has. Also, I have ignored Cassili too. It’s in my discovery set but I haven’t ever tried it. I’ve been hearing good things about it recently so I’ll probably give it a try soon 😊. By the way… don’t sleep on Athalia. She actually packs a bit of a punch and isn’t as “soft” as she seems 😂. She has a nice powdery dry down also.

Meliora is that girl. I understand I ignored Cassili too sometimes the sample is not enough to make a decision. Let me tell you when I put Athalia on my skin when making this video 🙃 oh my goodness. Powdery goodness

I don’t have a top 3, but Delina was my very first niche fragrance and holds a special place in my heart. Lol I got it as a gift from my husband on Mother’s Day. So it is still my number one. I also love Delina Exclusif and recently got a full bottle. I’m not a fan of Oriana or La Rose. :/ I’ve tried Cassili and I’m not sure if it’s full bottle worthy at this point. I’m waiting for my sample of Valaya in the mail and can’t wait to try it. I would love to try Meliora next. ☺️

That is such a sweet and special gift from your Husband 🩷 We adore Delina. I think my most used and complimented fragrance is Delina Exclusif glad you got that one. I think Meliora is a safe buy. I haven’t hear one person say they did not like Meliora.

Hey Ade. Parfums de marly is my favorite brand right now. I think they do feminine fragrances so well. My top would have to be delina exclusif but it's hard trying place all of the other ones cuz they're all so good. Fantastic list babe.

I know I'm in the vast minority when I don't love Delina.... I have a travel size of Delina and Cassili ..... I think I still have at least 1/2 or 3/4 still in the decant , really have to be in the mood , it's the rhubarb note just a little too astringent for me and rose needs to be a backup singer not the star imo.... Oriana is my only fb so far ... I should try the excusif maybe 😍

It’s okay Chris. We’re not all going to like the same fragrances. Glad you got a travel size to test Delina and Cassili. So many people dislike the rhubarb note. I find that a lot of people who love Oriana also love Delina Exclusif. They both have a nice creaminess to them.

@@adebeautybox It's funny how a note in a fragrance can bother us then all of a sudden it's like our nose no longer perceives it the same way and it becomes a love , this has happened with a few fragrances for me so far including Oriana , I think the ambrette at 1st kept it from being a love , but that changed 🥰 I will add Exclusif to the must try list ❣

Ade, thanks for serving this beautiful ranking like easily digestible food. I should go for organized fragrance sniffing outings for individual niche houses every week, but I have challenges getting around. Confused with too many fragrances from various houses, I couldn't form an opinion of Delina. What I remember is that sharp note which was a no for me. During Friends & Family Sale at Saks I asked an SA for Delina & Exclusif and she gave me the fuschia bottles on display for Oriana's new release. It was Love At First Sniff!💗 I actually bagged Oriana before ANY perfumista influencers tried it. Back to scattered sniffing smh... I discovered gems💎 at the Loubi World fragrance counter, hint hint. Half a dozen from this collection sound dear to me but I'm still vetting.🤷🏽‍♀️
