I went to 17.45 this summer! I also went to Versailles and loved it. My daughter and I went to a “summer evening in the garden event” which culminated with a fireworks show. Very memorable and the gardens on a beautiful summer night with a glass of champagne in hand: swoon ❤. Thanks Jay for your fun videos that I continue to watch even though vacation is over.

Jay I loved this video. The first time I ever visited Paris when I was a student, we stayed in Pigalle. It was so much fun and like you said a tad seedy. I remember buying phone cards at the Tabac and calling my parents from the booth across from Moulin Rouge. No more booths nowadays. Great place the 9th. 😄

Hi Jay ! I'm from Paris and everything in this video is great ! Pure facts, the 9th is one of the best if not the best night life district in Paris ! Sadly people that comes to visit Paris tend to gather in Châtelet a lot... Please go enjoy the 9th rather than Châtelet guys ! We are also more welcoming and nicer, but thats probably because we are drunk at this point ahah

Fries are served to those who order them - and these are mainly tourists ! I am French and I NEVER eat fries. I live in the 9h and I NEVER go to those horrible hamburger and fries places ! Your video is all about cafés and restaurants…. Pigalle is something for tourists nowadays. There is far more to see in the 9h, in Paris, in France - and in a country generally speaking. And to eat a hamburger in France where there so much good food is available is a real shame ! Also if you could stop speaking…

Yes, it's closed from the 1st to 20th of August for their vacations, but the Dumbo in Petites-Ecuries is open all summer. Best place to find / confirm information is on each restaurant's instagram page :)

If you could stop speaking/yelling for one minute… you make people dizzy. Plus you give a very wrong idea of the 9h - where I live. The 9h is not « smutty » - only Pigalle is - and who goes to Pigalle nowadays ? The foreigners, the tourists, not the French ! You concentrate on cafés and restaurants - there is far more to see, architectural beauties, which you obviously ignore. To speak about hamburgers and beer in a country where the local food and wine are so good makes no sense. And to eat from a paper bag with your fingers is low class and bad manners. We do not need that kind of foreigner/tourist : we like them well mannered, not loud, and interested in our architecture, culture and food. At the Opéra you should not say show, but performance - how low class again. Such vidéos as yours should not exist, they are false information, misleading. Very low class. Masstourism. The kind that spoils our cities all over Europe.
