Turning everyone into sewists!

I love it, I’m trying to turn everyone into an sewist too. My favorite was the large print floral.

Frugality down the tubes when traveling - happens for me too! Like you, I try to really focus on wearability. The other saving grace is that fabric is heavy - that keeps me from buying too much!

I love all your choices of fabrics, and your color palette seems to be similar in what I would like,I would have been like a kid in a candy store!

What a fun vlog. My favorite fabric was the smaller scale floral… I always love florals! Thanks for taking us shopping in Paris🎉

Thanks for watching, it was my pleasure to share a bit of my experience with you! Yes, I love the deep tones of the small floral print too and it actually feels amazing in the hand, I’m looking forward to washing it up and possibly making it up this winter since it’s such a great palette!

Good quality fabrics and prints that you love always end up making wonderful garments that stay in your wardrobe in my experience. Hope you enjoyed exploring other bits of Paris too !! My first machine that i used for many years was a frint loading Janome, our middle child has claimed it now ! 😂

Beautiful fabric choices. You did very well! Thank you so much for sharing your trip. I loved it. Oh my goodness I’m going to Japan in June. I am going to go crazy visiting the fabric town. I hope I’m not too overwhelmed to choose deliciousness.

Your cousin is so funny! Love her. I had a great time shopping with you! I think my favorites are those embroidered square panels that you're thinking of putting onto a bomber jacket. Absolutely think that this is an amazing plan. I'd honestly be tempted to make cushion covers to show them off and brighten the home. They'll be fantastic however they're used!

Hahha Theresa, she is a hoot, I was so excited to get to go exploring with her! I love the cushion 💡 idea! I sew non-garment items so rarely that I hardly consider those other possibilities, but thanks for that suggestion!

So much temptation! My favourite was the floral viscose satin. At one point you were looking at a dark green animal print, loved that! Glad your trip was so much fun.

Oh thank you Tanya! It’s funny because I know exactly which fabric you’re talking about, I think it was under an orange floral fabric, and I lingered on it for a bit. It’s surprising how many fabrics you look back on when watching the videos thinking, did I really leave that behind lol, but alas, so much fabric so little time. Thank you so much, the trip was delightful!

Such a great video! I was in Paris in May at the end of a long trip and was able to spend two days in the fabric neighbourhood. Your video reminded me of that wonderful time. I fell in love with viscose twill and came home with many cuts. And some I left behind (:(.

I really like the rust colored fabric. On a more personal note, your skin is flawless! Do you use a particular foundation?
