Paris, France Garbage Truck

Here is a truck collecting trash in Paris, France! This was a pretty fun video to film. Was really interesting how people set out large pieces of wood. It was fun to watch them collect the piles of fruit crates as well. All the carts here are OPs so that’s pretty cool. Anyway hope you all enjoy!

In New York City we have only 2 people on one truck, one driver one loader. And they really move, you would tire just watching them. Oh and in Winter they are primarily responsible for snow removal. All of the trucks double as snow plows. With very few exceptions every road in NYC is clear within 24 hrs of a major snow storm.

Great video! One suggestion, since there power is 50hz, unlike our 60hz, you may want to adjust the camera settings. That would get rid of the flickering lights.

It’s always cool to see collections from other parts of the world, seems these guys have a pretty smooth assembly line type deal to get those big piles off the ground. Also seems like that guy with the jeans and man bun does the most work of them all, haha.

@@willwill3890 I thought that at first but since they blocked the road with the dustcart I didn't see the point in it, - maybe that's the way the French do it. All I can say is they must have an awful lot of "safety truck's" following carts everywhere, even if only in the 'centre' of Paris.

As you can see it's a one way traffic. Cars behind can't overtake. So they move up close to the truck so you can't operate the bin lifter. Second reason. Rubbish can fly out from the truck when compress. To avoid unnecessary damage and claims. That's why it is necessary to have a safety truck to prevent other road user getting close.

In reality only 1-2 maximum, in my city in France we start to prepare all the trash of everybody (Like we go in your home to take the trash can, prepare all our customers trash on the day, put it on the road and waiting the trashtruck arriving arround 6:10, at 6;10 the one who finished prepare his hood jump on the truck and pick up all the trash other are finishing to prepare on the road, and the other one just put back the can or container where they should be
