Paris, France Garbage trucks collecting trash!

Recently I was in France so I was able to film some trucks when I had the time. They actually do not collect till later in the day depending on certain areas so I was able to catch some when walking around. The last truck in the video was south of France where there were smaller alleys. Anyway, hope you enjoyed the short video!

Great video It is nice to see France's garbage truck, 6 years ago I saw a rear loader in Dubai, 5 years ago I saw a few garbage truck in Pakistan

Wow dude, I usually don’t enjoy garbage truck videos as much that aren’t in the US, but this was super cool! These crews work well with all the motorists and foot traffic around! My favorite clip was the 2 trucks passing and the helper acknowledging it. Interesting they collected grey, grey with green top and green carts but I assume it’s all trash. The truck in the alley was cool as well but looks very tight. Great seeing a different type of video from you!

I am French. You should know that a new regulation imposes a standardization of the colors of the waste bins in all French cities, to facilitate the understanding of the rules of recycling. (grey for waste, yellow for recycling, brown for food waste,...) Historically, waste bins were entirely green in the city of Paris for trash. But since 2 years and with the new regulations, during a repair of the bin or its replacement, they are replaced by gray bins or just the gray cover. There was also a period during which the tanks were gray with green lids, but I have no explanation, perhaps a stock shortage at the manufacturer.

It’s 2 shifts there, I wanna say it’s like 6am-12pm and then 6pm-12am or something, I guess to dodge the heat and they don’t want trash out while people are walking around

Ahh okay thought it was something like that because went to a different area and all the trash was collected in the morning.

@@wcmaster773 yea last time I went my hotel was 7 am every day for food waste and trash and then it was like Wednesday and Saturday were recycle at 7 am and glass was like Thursday at 9 am. And then the hotel I was at the time before was 5 pm trash with Tuesday Friday recycle at 5 and glass at 2 Wednesday. Each building had a 30 minute window to put their cans out and then like an hour to bring them back in. It’s super organized
