This is a wonderful walk in the "city of lights" on New Year's day. It seems everyone is out experiencing Paris. People just walking and taking pictures that they will not normally take in this beautiful city. Look at the reflection of the sunset in the sky. This video will make me consider spending Christmas and new year one of these years in Paris. Paris is not foreign to me, I have been in Paris several times. Thank you for this awesome video.

Good video but insane how crowded it is. Far from the image Paris has of a romantic city. I have been there a few times but seeing this makes me rethink of visiting again

And that's nothing compared to before the pandemic! France is the number one tourist destination in the world and Paris is the most visited city, in particular around Christmas and Easter. Until 2019 the city had 11 million tourists per year, 90 million for the whole country. Now excellent for the economy, but I'm not sure regarding the peace of its inhabitants. I have travelled extensively, visited magnificent cities, but Paris remains the most beautiful of all with its harmonious architecture, its large avenues, its gardens, its peculiarities such as the booksellers/bouquinistes along the Seine which I adore, Montmartre, the little village within the city where I would love to live.
