Shallow note--Paris's dress is *gorgeous.* WANT. I was never a Paris fan per se back during the aughts (I didn't follow her) but it was obvious that 99% of the garbage sent her way was steeped in misogyny and jealousy. It was also obvious she was an excellent businesswoman. Then a few years ago she started talking about the "troubled teen" boarding schools she'd been sent to, and using her platform for activism. My cousin went to one of those places and thanks to Paris, she's started talking about her experience and it's kind of filtering through the family now. Paris's memoir is fantastic and it's a great portrait of a young woman who found a way to survive some terrible experiences. My heart goes out to her.

I agree because not all people feel comfortable with that level of intimacy. Especially in front of millions of people and a live audience. It’s giving a wee bit of “over the top” fake vibes now and just too much. Give people the space they need to breath and feel comfortable.
