As a competitive runner myself this series has been an absolute treasure. To see everything- working out the niggles, bad workouts, good workouts, even some of the hours and hours of warmups and drills is so incredible. And the ON TOP of all that we get this episode of you and your family and friends just screaming "I love you" and soaking in all the joy from you getting to perform at such a high level on the olympic stage. What a blessing you are for our sport Clayton and what great role model you are to show that pride, joy, and love are things experienced by even the most elite athletes. I won’t ever be able to explain how special this series was for me. I ran that evening, and I’ve been watching these videos since episode one. I felt so many of those same emotions, even thought it was on a much smaller scale. The build, the sacrifice, those dang hills (up AND down!), the finish…it was amazing.
