As a competitive runner myself this series has been an absolute treasure. To see everything- working out the niggles, bad workouts, good workouts, even some of the hours and hours of warmups and drills is so incredible. And the ON TOP of all that we get this episode of you and your family and friends just screaming "I love you" and soaking in all the joy from you getting to perform at such a high level on the olympic stage. What a blessing you are for our sport Clayton and what great role model you are to show that pride, joy, and love are things experienced by even the most elite athletes. The utmost congratulations to you and Conner for this build and performance! Thank you to Andrew Storer for such beautiful footage and editing! Can't wait to watch NYC marathon (:

Quote from Every Good Endeavor by Tim Keller: "The original word 'sanctify' meant to set yourself apart like an Olympic runner. We know what it means to train for the Olympics. it means that absolutely everything in life is subordinate to one goal. It means that every minute of the day, every activity is done in such a way as to contribute to that aim. There is a great deal of pain every day, but it is endured without complaint. Only that level of passion and commitment can earn the gold." Thank you for setting yourself apart to represent our country at the Olympics. A top ten performance and a 2:08 on that terrifying course in the heat and humidity are amazing! Rich blessings to you and your family!
