The IOC does not have powers to remove competitors without clear evidence it's down to the National Olympic Committees to make sure it's participant's meet the eligibility requirements. No.. None of this is new information. It's just regurgitation. The IOC's stance from the start was that chromosomes or organs do not identify a male or female. The IOC was well aware that Khelif was some form of intersex. They want a male to be able to compete as female so long as that person identified that way for long enough, and does not possess insane testosterone levels. The entire argument from the inception was largely arguing over how we identify sex.. Most of us argued chromosomes was good enough. The IOC does not agree. Just because we now have some extra determination of those chromosomes and organs, it does nothing to change how the IOC defines a male or female. Khelif will retain the medal.
