Hey that wasn’t 400 question.ha I had a blue kitchen/dining room in my old house I had also seen it in a magazine. Yep in the morning I’d get up early and I’d think was it that blue? Yours is a better blue. I’m glad you got what you like. People also ask me if I’d change anything in our small new retirement home. Yes I probably would but then last night we had company and they told me they love my house and then I remembered this is what I’d wanted!!

FAUCET INFO svp...is it unpolished brass? Re: Hood. My last stove did not have a hood. Above the stove was a microwave with vent but still any time I used a stove top grill, my smoke detector sounded. My oven died so I needed to get a new stove. Never used the microwave (from previous owners) so replace it with a hood. My oven space is only 30". I wanted a white porcelain stove with feet. Only European stove have feet so I went with an Italian Bertazzoni and a hood is available...also comes in stainless. Would recommend it. Dishtowels: I was just in Provence and picked up some great cotton dishtowels that I would also like to recommend. The brand is French and called Safeco, but it is not available in the US. The price was very reasonable 2 for 10 euros. Thinking that you may want to get some for your online store. They are a good weight, very absorbent and dried quickly. Have a wonderful trip!💕🇫🇷

Thank you Celine! I'm planning an October 25 Provence trip so I will look for those. The faucet is unlaquered brass/living finish.

Angela, I thought all those tiles you painted were also going on the wall you had the wallpaper on? I thought you painted hundreds for that wall. No?

Speaking of the tiles… @pariAngela, I have acquired two of those authentic 18th century Delft tiles almost exactly like the ones you found. They are very good condition if you’re interested in them @Angela . If not I’m just gonna put them aside.

Angela, can you please tell us how you gave the new floor tiles that beautiful, mottled, aged appearance we saw in the kitchen reveal? They look transformed, and I’m dying to know how you achieved this effect. Thank you so much ❤️
@ParisienneFarmgirl23 күн бұрын
They are from France. Made in the traditional way. Not old, but old methods were followed so they are VERY pitted.
@christinepaige257523 күн бұрын
@@ParisienneFarmgirl Thank you; I guess it's just a natural patinating process that occurs rapidly with use. The "raw" tiles as you were installing them looked very uniform and not shiny at all, but by the time of the reveal they seemed to have acquired a slight sheen, and beautiful subtle differences in coloration. Gorgeous.
