Yes, that's how fire works. It does for the driest stuff. Trees aren't dry unless their dead. A piece of property my mom used to live in burned in Vacaville California a few years ago. The fire burns away dead plants and allows some species specifically Pine trees to release their Pine cones and open them up to release their seeds. it also makes space for newer plants. Poor Paradise! All those early warning things will not help if there are no clear roads to escape. I suggest making about 8 more roads like a spiderweb radiating outwards from the town so there are many choices and escape routes. It won't matter even if they are just dirt roads, because in summer nobody is worried about mud. Just make some escape routes! Have busses ready to go at a moments notice and tractor trailer rigs that people can put belongings or pets into as they leave. Churches could pitch in and donate busses, time and effort towards this goal. We Californians felt so bad when that last fire burned down the town and killed so many people.

Yep well that’s how it works. A roof gutter full of pine needles will burn a house down even if all the brush around the house is cleared. If all the brush is cleared the trees mostly will not burn owing to lack of ladder fuel. There is nothing odd or suspicious about this, it is simply,how fire works.

I dont think multiple days of 100+ degree weather is natural in places like Illinois or the East coast and neither are weeks of 90+ degree weather in places like the U.K. And if you dont believe in the indirect parts of climate change you can atleast say that Oil and Coal are horrible for the environment directly too. Oil can coat animals fur and throat when they swim in it or inhale it like whales do. Mining and fracking have been shown to destroy near by ecosystems and force animals to flee from them. And there of thousands if not millions of pictures of turtles and other animals with trash wrapped around them or with straws and metal bits stuck in their noses. With higher ocean temperatures being recorded we can start to see the affects such as coral bleaching and changes in swimming patterns of some species. Along with that burning coal and oil has a negative affect on humans too Gases such as Amonia and Sulfur Oxide and other dangerous particles are released into the air. This can cause irritation of the trachea and even have long term affects such as increased rates of asthma and cancer the more people are exposed to and breathe in these harmful particles. So no matter what wether we are heating the planet or not we must change our ways
