I use this material all the time at work but would be great if it wasn't so expensive

Hi Kevin, what types of applications do you use the framing for? Maybe we could help by taking a look at the design or seeing if a different grade/weight of aluminum could be used. If you have questions, you can reach out to ips_marketing@parker.com

I love the pass-through holes to access fasteners. The software sounds great but can they just import someones stp file that was done on a CAD program?
@mariomitchell16045 жыл бұрын
Currently, the Design Architect (TADA) software can export stp files, in addition to native Solidworks, Inventor and CREO. We will consider a function to import files, such as a stp file, in the future. Thanks for watching and be sure to download a copy at www.parker.com/designarchitect

@@mariomitchell1604 Outstanding I use Fusion 360 which can import stl or Solidworks very easily. Ideally, I'd design in Fusion 360 and you'd be able to import my file.

@@mariomitchell1604 Unfortunately the link no longer works and I am not able to find the application on your website. Thanks for the great video!

We should get school children to design and build their own desks or classrooms this way.
@mariomitchell16043 жыл бұрын
That is a very good idea. One vision that we have is to get this into the hands of school children. If you have any ideas on how we can help, please reach out at ips_marketing@parker.com

How does this compare price wise to 80/20?
@mariomitchell16044 жыл бұрын
In some cases, it would be comparable. You'd need to review the application and see if you are just in need of the framing raw material and fastening components, do you want the factory to do the necessary machining and send you a kit, ship a fully assembled unit, or would you require other value-added items such as linear motion, etc.

It appears that the T-Slot rails for the two tables are different . One layout appears to need end caps and the other does not. Is the the case?
@zackfishle10095 жыл бұрын
The end caps are non marring soles for the table legs I bet.
@mariomitchell16044 жыл бұрын
They are two different profile sizes: 30mm x 30mm and 1.5" x 1.5". In this case, the table that uses the 1.5" profile did allow for the use of end caps. The user could have chosen to leave them off. The table that uses the 30mm profile would not require the end caps, due to the design. Note: one could use end caps on the bottom of the table (for demo purposes). Thanks for the question.
