Hey, you know what? I don't think people have a problem with it except 1 a**hole who disliked it. I like your vids & I subscribed earlier. I like the information you give us at the beginning so we know what it is your even exploring & I like the fact that you talk, you don't just play music which gets annoying. So, I am watching a lot of your vids now LoL

Awesome job Parker. There was so much stuff that could have been reused. Oh btw I heard the music. It was cool but must have been a little unsettling to you guys being there. The length of the vid was fine, I was so into it I didn't notice the time. Take care and stay safe.

That place was nutso! So much stuff lying around. That room with the floor covered vinyls and all those books, would have made for some good pictures. That was an interesting one Parker!

At 16 mins. that was an old floor buffer/polisher. They are used for waxed floors. They can also be used for stripping the old wax off the floor or put a polisher pad on the machine and polish the floors to shine.

The history on that place it beyond messed up geez. One thing I found amazing well one of the many things is.....the basketball hoops still had the nets on them. I mean the building is crumbling to dust yet....the nets survive. Parker another classic thanks for posting.

Would be cool to find an ex employee from the places you explore to accompany you. I'm sure the stories would be exciting. I actually studied the history of Forest Haven in nursing school. Thanks for the video. PS: As a nurse graduate I really am obligated to mention you really need a face mask. Certain fungi are deadly. I also wish you guys would wear a hard hat like the ones on construction sites. These building are unstable and the ceiling (or parts) can fall. But, boys will be boys. I do wish you all the best and really do enjoy your adventures.
@ruthshelton19246 жыл бұрын
They need more than a face mask, they need REAL MASKS with filters, resperators and wear gloves. Should change before getting into the car & put the dirty clothes in a sealed bag, then wash.

The old office typewriter was a Remington from the early to mid 1950's amazing how things get left to just sit and decay to nothing. The reason it is still there is the outrageous cost to demolish it. No Government Fed/State or civic wants to get stuck for the tab. Will eventually fall down I suppose
@Emmewantspeace8 жыл бұрын
Gary Roberton is it expensive to remove it and be used or put in a museum?
@MrGaryRoberton8 жыл бұрын
You would pay a lot more to restore it than buy a similar one from any old office supply company. The big thing about those is finding a new typewriter ribbon for ink, and someone to restore the mechanism I call those things 'the department of discontinued lines'
@ParkerProduction8 жыл бұрын
+Gary Roberton it's planning to be demolished soon

Ok so I was about to go to this place and me and my partner looked up "how to get to forest haven asylum" and when we got there, there were guards around that road. I was wondering how you got into the place
@MrBulwer7 жыл бұрын
There are numerous trails leading into the site. The most used trail is right behind the EZ storage on the small access road. You probably drove on it when you got to the security area. Currently there is construction work going on in that area and if you use that trail the workers will see you. Recently there was arson on the grounds so the security has picked up a bit. Still if you use common sense and stealth you can get there. Good luck and BE SAFE!

Laurel Maryland, not far from Baltimore. You could goggle it. Then park at a store or the storage unit place & find a trail. If go by card to the place, security will stop you. Be careful &keep an eye out for security. I wonder what they did with the graveyard. They just buried patios right on the property. To try to hide some of the many awful things that went on there.

Thank you Parker for the awesome job!!! I appreciate the videos you upload!!! You ever make it this way to SW Ohio let me know, there are many many places, lots of factories and even old walk thru Haunted House attractions that were used to raise money for organizations. There are many place and former Amusement Parks. I can get you exclusive access to Americana Fantasy Farm property where Adam the Woo tried to access until he was stopped by Mr. Couch the owner. I know and I am friends with Jerry Couch the owner of the property and I can get you and even Dan Bell exclusive access. There has been many buildings removed and such but still there is a lot left there and I worked at both parks when I was a teenager and I can tell you tons of interesting history including the many celebrities that has visited the park including Dick Clark and the American Bandstand to KISS to John Cougar Mellencamp to Buddy Holly. John Astin (Gomez) from the Addams family has visited and Donna Douglas (Ellie Mae Clampett) of the Beverly Hillbillies. Many Sock Hops and Dances and the Lake used to be used to make Ice way back in the days and so much more history that I can give you guys. Dan Bell done a series of Malls and he featured one that is very close to where I live. It is still open but it is going to close soon. Forest Fair Mall located in Fairfield Ohio. Try and make a trip this way. Plan on possibly overnight because it's lots to explore around here and you would be really about the first because no one has done any extensive exploration around this area at all. Let me know if you are interested. Ask Dan as well if he is interested as well. Thanks again, have a safe Memorial day weekend !

Great video and I hope to see more just like it. However there is one thing that bothered me. You guys are young and are not wearing any protective masks, asbestos and mesothelioma are no joke nor is black mold both of which can be found in places just like this one. Mesothelioma can bite you in the butt 30-40 years after the fact, long after you guys have moved on to better and greater things in life. Just saying.

I agree!!!! Also take off dirty clothes & put in a bag ,,,then get into the car,,,, then wash the clothes ect. If not, your mask is off while being in the car & the fibers that come off the clothes gets in hailed,,, not good! Might as well not havr the mask at all.
