A wardrobe basics video along the same lines of this, but encompassing the whole fit. Like "this four pants, these tops, these shoes, etc - bam, start there!" I'd find that immensely helpful!

Which 2 patterned trousers would you wear casually even if it's just to go shopping or running quick errands? I figure a Windowpane or some type of check works nicely perhaps even a Houndstooth. Personally I think Plaid options are better for Holiday parties just my opinion though. Excellent work as always my friend!
@ParkerYorkSmith2 жыл бұрын
Yeah totally, you can wear them anytime you wanna feel a bit dressier
@Manuel4212 жыл бұрын
@@ParkerYorkSmith Absolutely! I agree. I mostly prefer solid pants for daily wear but I may invest in a 2nd pair of Plaid Trousers for sure. Keep up the good work my friend!

And this is where shops like mine come in. On every pant we sell (besides the belted cuff climbing pants), we offer in house tailoring. Want them a bit snugger at the ankle? Length not up to snuff? Waist band just a bit too bulky? Now, if we've gotta do a ton of work to trim, say an entire leg, that's a bit extra. Cause it's a lot of work to make it look like it's SUPPOSED to be that way. And, well, she's a bit of a perfectionist. Oh, and we offer the same as a paid service for pants we don't sell too. If you're hesitating to get something tailored over cost, think about this for a second. How much is your time worth? Would this take you a half hour? Ok, so let's say you value your own time at 40$ an hour. That's 20$ you should pay yourself. And unless you're a seamstress (tailors make things from scratch), that's amateur work. A professional should make AT LEAST that much. I'd say, for a good bit of tailoring, expect to pay 25-40$ per hour of work. Which is shorthand for: get it good in the seat, good in the legs, and as close in the waist as possible. Length and waist are the fastest jobs in most pants (not all are made equal), so try to minimize the work they have to do by picking things as CLOSE as possible. Not every body is made the same way. If you've got hips, own that. If you've got narrow legs or tree trunks, own that too. Don't try to pretend those things don't exist, you'll only end up costing yourself in the end. Be honest, be unafraid to try things on. If you're not familiar with how something fits while shopping online, see how it compares to something you already own. And if it's a question of basic vs flash, consider how it slots into your existing wardrobe, if you have something similar, and how often you're likely to wear it. Depending on how versatile the piece, you might be more willing to get a truly custom bit of tailoring done to make sure it fits just a little bit better. I always tell guys "this fit? It's just how it was made. It's important to make sure it fits you." Not everything will, so be cognizant of that too.

You can wear boots with sweatpants, just not the kind of boot you wear in this video. It you wear more casual boots like hiking boots. Especially in the winter, like North Face or Nike/adidas boots, you can 100% wear boots.

IMHO yes to that denim jeans on dress shoes but no to that Chelsea boots under cargo pants while yes to "joggers" with combat boots if they are kind of cargo/joggers hybrid: basically cargo pants with typical joggers details only like the coulisse at the waist and the elastic in the fabric and at the hem. P.S. That strange moment when you realize that your beloved pop star has got married and becomes a dad 🌚. I'm joking! 🤣😅😝 Best wishes! 🥳

man, with your physique you'd look great in traditional tailoring. But hey, you'll eventually grow out of this streetwear nonsense and go for more minimalistic aesthetics, understated luxury, timeless designs, soft lines, muted colors, natural materials etc.
