I agree, make them come to the lot with a license plate, stickers, and proof of insurance. You just know they have been driving this car with this fake plate and without insurance and that they will continue to do so. In my country, a license plate is considered a state document, and if you fake a state document it will end very badly for you.

Its not to hard to start towing. You can apply for a job at a local tow company. Just learn how to drive the rig and operate things, an easy going personality would help as well since it can be a stressful job. The hard part would be opening and maintaining a tow business in 2023.

I think it comes down to trailers are more tires and more stuff to keep up with and if you drag a trailer there and miss the bike then you have a trailer to drag back to the yard before you roll on hot to the next

If you struggle opening up a jar of pickles try putting a spoon's front edge under the edge of the lid and press down on the spoon handle. It should make the seal, in the middle of the lid, pop. Makes it so much easier. BTW, I know you probably wasn't looking for suggestions to your problem. LOL

The law needs to require the same three items for the on-site drop as to picking it up from the yard. License, registration, and insurance. If the owner does not have all 3, the car gets taken to the yard.

I would have at least had a cover on it to keep the dust and dirt off of it. I caught believe the mount of people that don’t go to the dmv and get their tags and license plates taken care of. You should print out some simple instructions in Spanish. How much a drop will cost. Where you are taking the car. Phone numbers, Hours of operation, etc. Save you some time and drama...

You should print out the most common sentences in Spanish describing what you are doing. "It's $100 to unload your vehicle." "It's $175 if you pick it up from our lot." "You need to call the office if you get a sticker on your vehicle..." etc.

A suggestion for grabbing bikes. Get yourself a package of inexpensive velcro stroaps at Harbor Freight. Keep one in your hand when rolling the bike onto the rollback bed, grab the front brake handle to hold the bike in place and wrap the velcro strap around the brake and handlebar to lock the brake on so it won't roll back down the bed. I used to use them on my bikes as a parking brake.

One thing I've noticed from watching your videos: Most of these violators are from NJ, NY or any democratic run state. Some advice for the newcomers: 1 This is not NJ or NY where you can keep your junkers on properties where tenants live. This is GA. 2 If you live in these communities, apartments, HOAs and even no HOAs ( you have county code enforcement) you MUST have tag up to date, insurance up to date and no flat tires or squirrel nests on top of your cars( NY and NJ is probably full of them and no one says nothing D- state). So.Georgia is for people who want to be responsible and want to keep the property values high and the state clean. And if you hit someone have insurance. Maybe where these people come from is not required. The cops , this tow truck guy, the state will catch you. If Georgia is too much for you guys then go back. The tags can be acquired at a Kroger kiosk. In about a minute! Emissions is like your best friend. Keep him happy you'll be able to drive to the depths of Georgia and explore without a State Trooper bugging you. So either get with the program or you'll be making this channel and this hardworking tow truck driver a millionaire. And we will be entertained as well.

Jonnie mentions about the 3 mile limit on their tow center operations, I hadn't realized that was actually a law! I watched a KZbin video about a tow company that operated ten miles away when the law was three away after hunting through private neighborhoods for expired tags and hauling off cars . The owners are now in jail. nice to see someone doing this unpopular job with a set of ethics.

Hi Johnny, I've been following your channel for a few years now, ever since I stumbled across it. Thank you for the entertainment. With regards to communicating with people who are not proficient in English or for yourself have you thought about getting some help from the office staff / friends / co-workers would this idea help at all. Type out your usual spiel about the stickers, how to communicate with their office etc, and about why it may be towed (tags, bad state of repair etc) and the drop fee / collect from your yard fee in the most common languages used in whatever area you're servicing, ie: Spanish / Portuguese / Colombian etc. Print a few up so you can give the appropriate one to them and keep a laminated copy of each in a folder in your truck cab to show them (in case of raining etc). Just a thought to try to make things a bit easier for you, we don't have those language problems here in Australia so much. Cheers and thanks again for the content. Paul in Perth Australia.
