The parking brake module power is connected to the reverse lights

The display is supposed to go on the dash. Fitted the exact same kit to my 2006 T30, wasn't that hard to fit

It can go wherever you like. It doesn't even need to be visible as long as you can hear the warning beeps.

You mean modifying the X-trail by adding a 3rd row seat? Wouldn’t be comfortable, accessible and most likely not safe.

@@daemon4470 I've tried its just too tight , you've got the axle and all right under there so you cant cut anything out , no real mounting points and the strut assembly makes it even tighter
