brilliant! I have Parkinsons i have chosen to walk 20,30,40 mins every day, every day i have done for the past twenty years. Now the medical profession are saying exercise with this condition you have the best chance of staying mobile. There are good days and bad days but after being outside each day everyday ends up being a better day.

Thanks for this positive message, Bob. As a relative new Parkinson's diagnosed person, it's refreshing to listen to someone with a similar outlook that I have.

I am living my first days with the probable diagnosis of Parkinson’s. Your talk was very eye opening. It is much like the attitude I am planning to have and that the Bible is teaching me. It was harder not knowing. I’d get episodes but by the time I see a doctor I was better. MRI, scans etc, show nothing. They look at you and say everything is fine. It’s like they are saying it’s all in your head, (imagination) well folks, it is in my head, not my imagination. Now to decide how will I deal with it. I choose to deal with it as you do. With God on my side, I will not take the ocean to ocean ride but I will not sit down and wither. I choose not to. Thank you, great talk.

I chose to start going to the gym. I hated the gym I grew up skateboarding and my “gym” was always outdoors. I’m 48 and determined to get back to the best shape I can be in. That’s my best defence I can think of. Because if I’m in shape then I can go snowboarding and skateboarding. The ultimate way to get real dopamine released.
