The defence is trying to prove Cruz is insane because you have to be sane to be sentenced to the death penalty. While everything is cut and dry his sentence is basically depending on the state of his mental health during the murders. I am from Malta 🇲🇹 started to following this case from the very beginning and I feel I was there all the way, my heart breaks every time I watch and hear each and everyone. This teacher must and the students must be living this trauma everyday and my heart feels for them, it's not fare for them to live these moments each day. I feel for those parents whom have list their children May Gid bless you and bless their children's souls. 🙏

Ms Hass did her VERY best to help those she LOVES that horrendous day, and likely Beyond to this day. Greater Love hath no one.... Alex Dworet and others seemed to sense her love and return it toward her as they testified...

I know the images in her head are interfering with her ability to recall the events correctly just think of what she actually had to see that day its horrible I wish her the best I cant imagine what it must feel to see your students dead like that

This prosecutor asks every person really unnecessary questions before getting to it which makes every witness off guard and stumbled

This poor prosecutor is so fricking exhausted.

They should show all of the most graphic pictures videos to everyone, then maybe people will see the reality and do something about it

I agree. People are too sheltered from the reality of these things.

this is why although drills are good for a standard procedure because no one knows what the situation could entail, for example if there were more shooters waiting outside. but always assess the situation and think about what is best. this is also why schools should not give surprise drills. i know these kids most likely did not have enough time to make any decisions but kids in the classrooms that were shot later could have had time to jump out the windows and escape if they knew it was a real shooting.

They should have cctv in all classes so atleast the teachers get a half a chance to save them selfs and students and a panic button that locks the doors !!!

And as sad as it sounds .. bulletproof glass on the doors. I saw one child testify that the classroom door was locked but Cruz just shot through the glass of the door.

yeah, imagine how many sexual assaults they'd also catch on school classroom cameras

@@mischaraine1645 bunch on peop;le hiding during a drill, he never entered rooms that had any kids inside anyway.

Absolutely, at least a hallway monitor. I'd also have to argue in some rare circumstances where a teacher us thoroughly back ground checked he and she may carry at least within the classroom. Don't understand why doors aren't already locked on the outside.

@@mischaraine1645 honestly when a human wants to commit a tragedy, it's going to happen. The only thing itself that could stop a man who has nothing to lose is God himself. Time and time again we see these procedures and laws fail.

Is there anyway to have a fence around schools with a guard shack? No entrance without going through the guard before the school. Mornings would be complicated but I wish something could help. This is terrible!

I wonder what punishment is worse. Life without parole or death penalty? I think life without parole is worse and he should get that. Death penalty, if the documentaries I have seen are accurate those cells are typically bigger and slightly better treatment. I might be wrong on that, just what I saw on KZbin. and either way, not getting out of prison. Death penalty he would 'get out' sooner. Life without parole would mean more time in prison until old man if he makes that long.

Stuff like this will continue unless you show the cowards that they will not live in infamy on our dime but rather will swiftly be removed from the face of the earth. They are themselves afraid of death. This one in particular, I think. He wanted the family to choose his fate so someone might have the guilt of the decision to put him down.

This made me cry so much. His punishment should be exactly what he did to those kids and teachers be done to him.
