This speech sounds like something someone would say right before being recruited by Batman. And I can't blame her. My life has been a living hell, and I would never hurt anyone. I understand that abuse can make people mean, and change them, but there is no excuse for this. None. Even if a holocaust survivor went on a killing spree, it would be their responsibility. I'm against the death penalty because I don't like government having that power, but hearing these victims speak out has made me question my own beliefs.

From what I've heard, Nick has actually had a pretty easy go in Jail up to this point as other inmates tend to look out for Him. As far as Prison goes, Many People have great memories from their time incarcerated and really grow to feel almost like family with many they are locked up with. Sure, The Judge tried to get over on Him with the whole commissary thing, But other inmates will happily allow Him to have funds sent to their account to avoid that restitution. But humans again have free will. I have NO doubt God will judge this young man. We all will stand before God and some people will suffer a faith that we cannot imagine. You did a great job speaking on your sister’s behalf. Even though the trail outcome wasn’t what you hoped for, please take solice in knowing that the defendant will likely not have a moment of peace in prison. When all is said and done, he will probably wish he got the punishment he should have gotten.

Young lady your parents must be very very proud of you. You're writing is eloquent poignant and fact-based. And you are not afraid to look that monster in the eyes and point right at him when you make direct statements about him. Fear not my love there are many of us out there who wish we could just run our fingers through your hair and hold you in an attempt to reassure you and call you as if we were your own parents. As you speak I cannot help but think of my own children and I feel selfish for shedding tears of my own for your loss. He will never have this control over you again I promise you that. And once he gets to where he's going someone else will see to the justice that you deserve. Even criminals don't like monsters.

Wow! This brave young lady is so articulate in expressing her sorrow! She said it so discreetly, descriptive abundantly well! At 59 yrs olds I don’t think I could have been so brave! I hope she gets some peace knowing her statement has impacted the world!
