Excellent presentation - I agree with the description of Neoliberalism as a predatory parasitic system. I see neoliberalism as really corporate liberalism - liberalism for corporations (or the wealthy elites who own them) Neoliberalism is in ideology and practice globalist and imperialist. Neoliberalism will not tolerate socialism or any form of citizen-centred social arrangements or governance including democracy. Neoliberalism is corporate-centred (ie the rich) and seeks private control of all planetary resources and markets (including water and air). This requires a radical shifting of power away from national governments (democracy) to transnational institutions (oligarchy) which will be essentially privately controlled. The euphemism used to cloak the private control of public institutions (eg central banks today) is ''independent'. The common enemy of transnational corporations and the transnational elites who own and control them are the democratic nation States and governments which can regulate them in their national territories and at international (ie inter-government) levels. The neoliberal elites are pushing to establish a transnational level of control that will supercede both national and international law and order. One of the instruments being used to achieve this are the new secretly negotiated trade deals - eg TPP & TTIP. These deals focus entirely on the rights of corporations and the rich elites (so-called investors) who own them. They are designed to maximise corporate power and control and the accumulation of private capital.
